  1. The big ommissiion in the invitation information is of they are still planning to build the new stadium on the MOL like last time
  2. The website says this "Online tickets for our Boxing Day game against Eastbourne Borough have now SOLD OUT Tickets will be on sale from the Club Bar from 5pm-11pm Monday to Thursday this week. "

  4. He did save me! 20 mins after he arrived my machine was working again! Never have I been so happy to have to listen to my washing machine running. Planning to book him to come and look at our oven that is not happy having found out he can also service that.
  5. Have tried to call Steve and sent him a text... let's hope he can save me!
  6. If the first game is Sunday 11th does that mean the fences outside the ground are going to be coming down does anyone know?
  7. What is also concerning is I went to collect one parcel and came away with two... the second should have been delivered last Wednesday. It's not a missed delivery because it would have fitted through the letter box, they didn't attempt it. The people at the sorting office were lovely but the queue was half way up the ramp on a Tuesday morning at 820am!
  8. In case it helps anyone apparently since 7 October the Peckham office now opens 11-3 on a Sunday. (Currently stood in a long queue there)
  9. Given the bottle neck they've created on the pavement they surely have to put some safety measures (railings next to parking bay for example) in place.
  10. I don't really understand why the actual post person for the areas has changed. Did they get made redundant? Our postie used to know where they could leave parcels for us (now they have a "safe place" box to tick on the card) and it says on our front door where to leave deliveries if there's no answer... but they are never left anymore.
  11. Yay re the club coming home but boo re housing plans... the travel infrastructure cannot support another 200 homes. Grrrr
  12. Hopefully they will also be putting a new cash point in too.
  13. We get post every other day if we are lucky. No doubt the package of new swimwear for the kids that should have been here by now will arrive after we leave for holiday tomorrow. Rubbish service. Also have items to send back to Amazon that have to be taken back to a royal. All delivery office to send (?!) and just can't face the faf of going to Peckham. How did they think this was a good idea?!
  14. That junction is now dangerous. My son stopped at the road to wait for me and almost got squashed by a lorry turning left as it's wheels cut across the corner of the pavement because they haven't left enough cleaeance. That coupled with a lorry bay taking up two thirds of the original path is a very poorly conceived (or executed) plan.
  15. Is Southwark not pursuing a CPO and granting Meadow a lease for the astroturf area a good thing? Will.they not just p*** residents off again by allowing inconsiderate events and again look to move the stadium and build flats? Especially after Southwark are busy actually investing in making the Green area more accessible etc.
  16. Any update to your chase about the fences next to DHFC? Also how did narrowing the footpath out the front of the new M&S East Dulwich station get approved?! One of the busiest stretches of pavement in rush hour is now less than half it's original depth!
  17. They have put a "diversion" in... they want you to cross the road to the cherry tree and then walk along that side of the road and use the crossing
  18. The loading bay is being put in at the moment (it's a pain having the path in front of ED station closed for so long while these flats go up!). That pavement is so busy everytime a train comes in from central London at rush hour... it seems crazy to half the depth of it but I guess they have no choice. If the lorries park up the side road they run the risk of a corner being taken off again by the looks of it
  19. Hi James, Please could you advise if there is anyone to contact for an update re the metal fencing running alongside Dulwich Hamlet? Schools are due to go back shortly and the nights are getting darker. It is going to be even more of a nightmare squishing cyclists and pedestrians together on dimly lit path.
  20. The pitch has been mowed... no idea if this is of significance but hopefully it means someone is being bought in to look after it?
  21. Really recommend these sessions! So refreshing to have found a mum and baby class that is a real workout! I was nervous about attending but I needn't have worried. Simone and the other attendees are so welcoming. No issue if you need to take a break to tend to your baby. Punching pads/bags is sooo therapeutic, always feel great after a session even if it was a tough night with baby!
  22. I think I saw on a Facebook post it is 1430 EDOldie Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > http://www.parliamentlive.tv/Event/Index/c6c039f2- > 2590-465b-8d48-23c1d39161db Anyone got any idea > what time this debate will be?
  23. Apparently any further contact by Rio has been ignored. I wonder if the council will somehow link up with Rio on the affordable housing project as well as the obvious sports interest
  24. Maybe they thought if the ground is worthless they would be able to build the flats on the stadium site as per their original plan.... but now they have p***ed the community off there is no way they will get permission. They should have taken Rio Ferdinand's offer.
  25. The lampposts are sited in the pavement so should be fine... I hope! Plus they are still using the metal fencing so they let the light through.... or at least that's what they were securing to the posts when we went past earlier.
