graywallpaper, you'll be glad to know that I have used my inteligence for once and made some enquiries; it was an emergancy. There was a gas escape last night. Apparently, anytime you see Southern working outside 8am-5pm means there is an emergency. Since they've been working outside Locale a few times after 5pm I'd probably avoid having a smoke there...

Was there really a pressing need for Southern Gas to be doing work until 1am outside Locale last night? This is the 2nd time it has happened. If it was an emergency then fair enough but, if not, surely they shouldn't be undertaking noisy work at this time? Its not as is its helped traffic by doing it this late as the area is still closed off as it was previously this week.

I've lived in Altima Court for 4 years and the water going off the other night was the first time I've known it to happen here. It was annoying but not worth not buying a flat over. Can't really comment on the expense of the service charge as I've nothing to compare it against. Our previous property manager from the managing agents was absolutely useless. The new one actually came round the other day though and he is a hell of a lot better.

I was at British Military Fitness this morning and someone lost their keys, I'll see if I can message to them to check at the cafe.

Apologies that this will only be relevant to a small number of people on here. Is anyone else living in Altima Court finding that their internet connection is very slow and keeps dropping out? After changing providers, modems etc I'm beginning to think its either a problem the whole building shares. The irony, of course, is that the very people who maybe able to offer some insight might not be able to read this because their internet... Any feedback would be useful. Thanks Danny
