  3. I have tried at local solicitors but they don't want to know. Thing is I have lived here most of my life and know a lot of the shop keepers? however have sent a complaint to Southwark Council as it is not the first time I have tripped over and fallen flat on the ground on Lordship Lane.
  4. That is very kind of you I live on my own but am OK.
  5. I slipped outside Tandoori nights on my way to work six weeks ago, dislocated my shoulder and broke my arm. I had a operation, arm in a sling until today and am have been off work until this week. The pain was indescribable and still in pain. The pavement along Lordship lane is appalling.
  6. Cant wait for M&S to open, and bye bye co-op not only depressing but the queues are horrendous and many the time I have just left the basket and walked out, its a joke.
  7. See them all the time they regularly go up and down East Dulwich road and the last time I saw them was in Ulverscroft rd. But they are not just in Dulwich there is a army of them working everywhere in the SE snooping in bins, my son says he seems them where he lives in Anerley.
  8. Really sad to hear about Bill. I use to live next door to the then Rose pub and he often went there most lunch times and I got to know him then. We became friends and I use to make cakes and pop in the shop sometimes with them. He made me laugh and was a friendly honest man and I liked him a lot. My thoughts are with his family and may he R.I.P.
  9. Cant take the risk and have cancelled all my details.
  10. I wonder if it was the monkey that made an awful mess all over my car? it looks like poo.
  11. Looking forward to it and thank goodness it is not another Indian shop along Lordy lane.
  12. Yesterday fixed and I was advised Thursday appt. 2nd time along the East Dulwich Road in less Than two weeks and the first time it was 3 days before a engineer was called out.
  13. Thank God it is closing down, it is a eye sore and the last time I went in there it stank of urine and bleach.
  14. Good to hear that the thief did not get away with it and how refreshing that the public gave chase.
  15. Dreadfully sorry for your loss of Gizmo. As a cat lover I can only imagine you and the family must feel. I hope you have a nice holiday and perhaps on your return when your ready think about getting another cat from a rescue centre. All the best.
  16. It is a fantastic very reasonable and delicious wine from the barrels.

    Dancing

Does anyone know where there somewhere to go locally for adult dancing? it can be ballroom, salsa don't mind.
  21. I have the same problem, I live next door to an Indian restaurant in Forest Hill Roadnand the staff stand outside and smoke and chuck their butts wrappers etc in to my front garden. The rubbish is getting worse in Southwark particulary school children eating chicken and chips from boxes and just dropping it on the pavement, lovely the rats!!
  22. The 63 bus takes you all the way there and very reliable every 5-10mins.
  23. I heard it too, the paramedics and police were there for ages and it was taped round the area where the crash was for a hour or so. Not sure what happened hope he or she survived,
  24. Where abouts in ED? I remember the old cinema and it was missed when it closed down. I would love to have a cinema in ED.
  25. Going to school cutting through Dulwich Park thick fog back in the 60's and very scary for a twelve year old.
