the 343 is no way more reliable - I was using the 343 up until last week about 6 times a week as it was SO rubbish. One night I waited at the bustop for it whilst 16 other buses passed it after being more than half an hour late. Not only are they they dreadful on timing but they also decide to stop midway and tell you to get out to wait for the next one. It happened so many times I actually sent in a complaint last week. Not that i've heard anything back mind!

Im hoping someone can help me as I don't have a clue what to do. My daughter will be 3yrs old at the end of December and she currently goes to nursery 2 full days a week. As I understand it once she turns 3 years old the government gives her hours at a nursery? How do I found out how I go about this? As I guess i would like it to be the same nursery she is in? Or do I need to contact someone at the council? Apologies but I don't have a clue! She is my only child and I would like to be a bit prepared at least! Thanks in advance. M.

I'm still co-sleeping for the majority of the time and my daughter is nearly 3years old. I've tried the CC but like you say it is really too upsetting. I'm trying to make her room as inviting as possible but that hasn't helped. If i'm out then hubby is able to put her in her room no problem. SAme with the babysitter. Frustrating but not sure what to do. I really don't think its the move to nursery at all - she goes 2 days a week.

I have an Animal Dyson which is and has been fab. I have one carpeted room the rest are floor boards. It has a special adaptor for animal hair which was the main reason I bought it (2 cats) but I really would not change it for anything... unless I bought a Henry - fantastic with both carpets and non-carpets. (my sister used to own a Henry and I stayed with her for a month when she had a baby and the hoover was brilliant with 2 dogs and a cat)

My daughter turned 2 a few weeks ago and she herself dropped her nap from lunchtime ish but as she was so tired was falling asleep around 4pm/5pm. So we keep it up and she will still go to bed 730pm/8pm depending on how busy she has been during the day.

i looked into Relate - they have a website with counsellors that you can find via postcode. good luck x

for my daughter it was day 3 and 4 where she did not sleep, fever high etc. day 1 was friday beginning from when she woke up and I spotted a couple of blisters. Day 3 was sunday and sunday from lunch she went downhill till monday night. These two for her were the worst. good luck!!

womanofdulwich - your post made me smile - I tried this with my daughter (i had 3 brothers and 1 sister and we used to do that) yet she would not get it. Ok so she was only 18 months at the time but seriously whats not to like in the pretend tent!!!

HeidiHi - I also held my daughter's birthday at the Barn at the Herne. We had our own menu - why don't you give them a call and ask them what they could do? I thought they were great and helped me have a good day for her first birthday (attended by young and old). BTW - I am not affiliated to the Herne in anyway I just thought they were great and at the time (year ago) was the best venue for kids/babies/mums and dads.
