Our beloved cat Mr Kitty is a man about town, however, he has been AWOL for longer than usual. Some very kind people came to let us know he'd been in their garden and he was collected, however, he's gone missing again. He's an old man- he looks a bit scruffy at the moment, he is in good health and is checked over regularly at the vets, but we think he might have altzhimer and has forgotten where he lives. If you see him, could you let me know. We know he has other homes, but this is the longest he has been away. We are based on Crystal Palace Road, top end. Thanks.

Thanks everyone- have to let DVIS know tomorrow- husband and I are still at odds.. Will let you know what we (I)decide!

We were on the waiting list- then southwark school admissions rang yesterday and gave us an our to decide! I spoke to the school, who said they couldn't do that- so now we have until Monday to decide!

Tomskip- I am very surprised we have been offered a place given we are so far away- which is why I am so torn- I feel very lucky to have the option and don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth- but I guess the Hamlet is the biggest obstacle!

Thanks! I just spoke to DVIS and their sibling policy only applies if the older child is still at the school- I am currently pregnant, so there will be 4.5 years between them- so will have the same school dilemma for baby no 2!! I think all roads point to Heber!

Have a dilemma ( a good one at that!)- we accepted a place at Heber, which is on our doorstep (and our daughter is already at the nursery there, and has made some very good friends). Then I received a call yesterday from the school admissions to say we now had a place at dulwich village infants (about a 20min walk away). I just can't decide what to do- DVI only goes up to 7 and we wouldn't be in the catchment for the Hamlet- but DVI is such a fabulous school..... What would you do?!

Hi billy, our nanny also wanted a pay rise, unfortunatley we weren't in a position to give her one at her annual review- so decided on giving her a bonus instead. We paid this as cash to her, so i think it probably ended up being more to her than any payrise we could have given. She seemed very happy with that and the promise we would review her salary once we were in a better position. Hope that helps?

My cat has gone missing, can anyone help? I live in the Melbourne Grove/ Chesterfield Grove area. She is a British blue- but looks kind of charcoal grey, she has very distinct eyes- orange and green and is wearing a collar with a bright pink tag on. Her name is Matilda and she is a real scaredy cat at the best of times so I am very worried about her. If anyone knows anything please can you contact me ASAP. Thanks. I used to live in Hayes Grove (opposite ED station) she may have tried to venture back there...
