  1. We're delighted with the work that Saied and Richard have done for us - they have put their all into transforming our garden, and we are now at the happy stage of watching all the new plants bloom and grow. It's lovely to be at this point after all the hard labour that needed doing first (new fences and rendering the pond, removing bamboo and overgrown banana plants, and it's good to know that the plants have all been expertly chosen to suit our soil, the aspect of the garden, and our tastes :) We wholeheartedly recommend Dulwich Eco Gardening - professional, knowledgeable, and completely reliable.
  2. (I have moved this from another thread) We have been struggling for a year to get our garden sorted and Saied and his team have done a lovely job so far. The thing I really appreciated was the fact that they came when they said they would, never went quiet on us and were super reliable. I haven't found this to always be the norm so it is worth mentioning smiling smiley We are going to have them back for the fun part next year - planting! - and I am happy to recommend them highly. Saied's number is 07538 760671.
  3. We reported problems making voice calls last week to O2 - they apparently only realised there was a problem with a mast in the local area early this week.
  4. Try posting on the Sydenham forum, you may get more responses: http://sydenham.org.uk/forum/
  5. We use Steve The Spin Doctor for all appliance related things, including installing a new dishwasher. You can probably find him and his number on the forum as I don't have his number to hand. He's really good.
  6. Another ** highly recommended ** for Greg! We love our new shelves - they've made a massive difference and they're beautifully made. Thank you very much!
  7. Have you signed up to travel alerts from tfl? I just had a very comprehensive email from them regarding tomorrow's Olympic events and which transport links will be affected/busiest. They'll be sending them out each day throughout the Games. I can forward you the email if you PM me.
  8. According to the head at Heber, it wasn't a Heber child. It was a child on his way to Eliot Bank in Sydenham who was offered a lift by a man in a car, who used the bus strike as a reason for offering the lift. It happened on Sydenham Hill, and the boy refused the lift and reported the incident to the school.
  9. Woo hoo! Let's start knitting some....CAT LITTER!
  10. *huffs* am waiting to take test to see if I am an idiot or not.
  11. I don't understand the three drain thing - I happily trample on drains. Explain please! But I do check in the wardrobe (for witches), when I am on my own at night.
  12. Thanks so much for all the replies - I really appreciate it. Sounds like there's a lot out there so will get on the phone and get sorted! Thanks again everyone.
  13. Hi Our boys are very keen to start playing rugby and I wondered if anyone can point me in the direction of a weekend or after school club for them - doesn't have to be SE22, but pretty local would be best. Thanks!
  14. If you are going to get agents advice, can I suggest trying Truepenny and Wooster & Stock - we are currently selling/buying and have found them to be the most 'honest' in terms of valuing and advice.
