Vets are welcome, but I meant people with first aid qualifications

Hi, A group of us are organising a sponsored dog walk in Dulwich Park in aid of Cancer Research UK on the 21st May between 11am - 3pm. Even though this will be quite a small scale event it would be great to have a qualified first aider on site, does anyone know or is a first aider and would be willing to help us out? Hi, thanks for this tip, I have a horrid feeling it might be even harder to find a group of people willing to do this though, compared to a dog walk or ritzy all, unless you're interested? Fiz

Hi there, My name is Fiz and I work with people in the local community who are doing fundraising in aid of Cancer Research UK. I work with lots of different types of people and groups who do things like organise an annual ball, a sponsored dog walk or a put on their own street party. But as far as I know there is no one raising money for Cancer Research UK in this way in Dulwich. So really I wanted to get your ideas about where I should start with finding these wonderful people who might be keen to start their own fundraising group? Or any ideas you had about why this wouldn?t work in Dulwich or what else I can do? Although survival rates have doubled in the last thirty years, and we have been at the heart of that progress, it remains a sad fact that every two minutes someone is diagnosed with cancer. So thats why I am putting this shout out to you as we need to keep fundraising, and will not stop our work until we have achieved our aim that together we will beat cancer. Any ideas, questions, inspiration welcome. Fiz
