    There were definitely foxes here more than 40 years ago. There was a den in the old chapel waste ground in Hindmans Road and then when they demolished the prefabs, the foxes “took over” the remaining site until the houses were built.

    Thank you everyone. I'm not planning on going anywhere today! I've just managed a small snack which is an improvement on eating nothing since just before midday yesterday.

    I’m not sure what the “new” symptoms are. ..and like the op it seems that the information online is for the original coronavirus . I have nausea, a horrible smell of smoke or rubber, upset tummy, a headache and just general aches. No temperature! I’ve run out of the little liquid phials to dip the sample in, so how do I tell? I don’t want to go out and spread it around even more. Hoping it’s just a bug.

    I had the call yesterday which was on time. Lady I spoke to was very friendly. I'm classed as low risk so will not have the scan but am eligible for the lung function test. They'll send an appointment to have this done locally. It was all very efficient!

    I’ve just had a look at events on my eufy doorbell and this afternoon (14th), a man with a BT/EE top rang the doorbell. I wasn’t expecting anyone from that company and wondered if they had knocked anywhere else? Online, but on the Isle of Wight, there are reports of scammers wearing the same tops. Asking on here before I ring EE!

    Just wanted to add to this post rather than starting a new one, how pleased my neighbour was with the work carried out by Tommy Rooney. She said that nothing was too much trouble and he found the fault with their boiler and replaced the part in a professional and polite manner.

    Nothing here in Hindmans Road. Still waiting for Birthday cards from October too. There seemed to be a lot of postmen and vans about yesterday in the area, but hardly saw one today.

    I still haven’t received birthday cards that were sent or my daughter’s gift (would’ve been in an envelope) that were posted in October. No post this week so far.

    Amazing how everyone pulled together to help the person injured and manage the traffic. I only saw the bike in the road but someone who was directing the traffic said it was pretty bad. Hoping the casualty is recovering.

    Thank you! I went to the centre today and they gave me a proof of visit notice. I’m probably not the only ditsy person that forgets!
