I have been on to them for the past three days. They say that there is a cell down and they are working on it!! They also said that we will be entitled to compensation!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR doesnt help when you are trying to make calls or lose signal half way through a call.
Thanks for that Sue. I have just complained because my mail and ALL my neighbours too , was left on our doorsteps. The postman hadnt even bothered to post the letters through the letterboxes!!!!!
Just to let you know that this man is quite well known. He was hanging around the front gardens of Hindmans road last year...not really doing anything in particular and said hello when he saw me staring at him. Apparently he does sell DVD's and is known to the police for this. I drove aroung the block to make sure he wasnt doubling back into my house but he wasnt, he was in someone elses garden by then. Someone said that he had stashed his DVD's somewhere but had forgotten which garden!!!You did right to tell the police!
Three fire engines have just passed me in Lordship Lane plus paramedics and an ambulance. They are at the top of Crystal Palace Road and LL is at a standstill. If you are thinking of going that way DONT!!! Firemen are running everywhere...couldn't see what has happened but it doesnt look too good. I hope no one is seriously hurt
Thers a lot of history there! My Grandad started the business there early 1900's. Then when he died my Uncles took over. They were pidgeon fanciers and very well known. In fact their pidgeons were commissioned during the war to carry messages! My cousin (who you saw) has probably worked there since he was in nappies!!!Trouble is he chats too much so you are there for the duration LOL!!!

From Catford you could take the A21 thru Bromley and out on to the M25 that way. Or head towards Croydon, Purley, Coulsdon on the A23 and then pick up the M23 on to the M25. Have you checked on AA routeplanner?

She was lying on the ground being attended to by paramedics when I drove past. She was wearing khaki cropped trousers. I too have been trying to find out 1) What happened and 2) If she is OK..... no one on here seems to know!
Hello Compeutedshorty. Sadly Percy died in the 1980's. He had an accident as I recall where he fell from some rafters. He was taken to hospital and they found that he had cancer. He died very soon after that, sorry. He was a very strong man with a heart of gold.
Computershorty Do you mean the Percy Seymour who was a builder and lived in Darrell Road? Big chap who always wore his shirts open to the waist??? My Uncle Ern was also a member of the ARP. He lived in Oglander Road so I'm not sure where he would have been based
