    Mice!

We have had a problem with mice and have tried all sorts, traps with chocolate and peanut butter, the plug ins etc and nothing seems to work. We've just had our kitchen completed gutted and holes blocked but the mouse has made an appearance ! Don't know how it's getting in.You can hear them sometimes in the space between the ceiling and floor above.I also have two cats who do nothing at all but sit and stare at a mouse and look confused LOL
  2. What end of Hindmans Road was this please?
  3. our green bin was emptied yesterday..... Maybe someone somewhere has got confused! we just keep filling up those bins. Mind you, I don't think that the fortnightly collection of the blue bins is enough.Perhaps they might have a rethink and collect weekly?
  4. it wasn't a blue bin week. blue bins have been pulled out Underhill Road end of Hindmans Road too and are in the road.
  5. My Dad was Ernest Watts...there's not a lot of Ernie's around!!

    Stressed cat

FELIWAY is really good for stress in cats. Yoy can buy it either as a spray or a diffuser which you plug in! http://www.feliway.com/gb Good luck!
  9. We were blocked in by a car a couple of years ago. We rang the police and the council but nothing was done at first. The next day the police tried ringing the registered keeper who lived in the next road, but they failed to make contact with her. They came to tow it away when at the end of our tether we informed the police we were going to cave in the windows!!! Just to add that we would not have been able to have got my disabled Mother who was in a wheelchair out of the house if there had been an emergency or had simply wanted to go out!
  10. He's home! BUT there's a twist to the tale! Moments after putting a leaflet through a letter box ,she had a call from someone saying they had her cat. Bearing in mind he had only been away a few days ,this person had had my friends cat neutered and intended to keep him. Now I don't know if I'm over reacting but I would have thought it would be common courtesy to try and find out if he belonged to someone by way of CAT FOUND signs!!!
  11. As far as I know he doesnt have a collar on at the moment. He hasnt been home for 2 days now. He did come back last week with a collar that someone else had put on. My friend is going to post notes through her neighbours doors tomorrow. It's very sad. I dont think the cat down near the police station is the same one but thank you.
  12. Yes we thought of six dinner sid especially as someone had put a collar on him! Just hope he comes back to his real home soon
  13. Today my friend is in tears because her cat has not come home. His littermate has stopped eating, its a very sad state of affairs. If he comes home she intends to keep him in until his visit to the vets next week. In the meantime if anyone is looking after him or knows of a young pale ginger tabby please let us know. Thank you
  14. I am posting for a friend who lives on Dunstans Road. She has two cats, one is ginger. He keeps going out for long periods of time which is very worrying, but then the other day he came home with a collar on! This collar was grey/yellow and red with a bell. So, to the kind person who is feeding /looking after him, thank you but he does have a home and is well fed and much loved!
  15. I would complain! After all your bike has been damaged and you have been upset by the abusive language of the driver. Why should you just let it go?? No, stand up for yourself!!
  16. At Tesco Old Kent Road last night, (Saturday), someone was being chased by a security guard closely followed by another guard and member of staff. They were joined by members of the public who helped to catch and restrain him. A great community spirit, different races coming together with a strong message to thieves. Its great they showed a united front eh?
