Does anyone know who she is? If you do could you ask her to make sure that she gives out the correct telephone number to companies because for the past couple of years we have had countless calls for her. I believe she lives in the Upland Road area as the postcode given was for there Thank you!

I went there too and remember Miss Stuart. She interviewed me and I had to answer questions about bats. Ms Gibbs was the head still followed by Miss Willis later on. My first teacher there was Mrs Bridges. she used to wear her dark hair in a bun and wore glasses. Other teachers I remember are, Miss Powell, Mr Jenkins, Mrs Hutchins ( who can forget her) Mrs Richardson(art), Miss Wheeler and Tyler(PE). Oh and the music teacher who had the cat 'o' nine tails.Mr Cook? I was in Rowan house and can remember getting GWM's. I used to love to jump the stream too and remember being sad when they had to cut down one of the elm trees because it was showing signs of Dutch elm disease.

Our car was broken into in the early hours on Saturday morning at 03.35. This time I have a description of the car and the occupants. I wasn't sure if they had broken in because there were trees in the way. A VW blue hatchback with blacked out windows pulled up and two white men got out. They were late teens early twenties. Both were slim built and one had lighter coloured hair. They were both wearing jeans and hoodies and pulled up their hoods as they walked quickly up the road to our car. I couldn't see our car because as I said the trees were in the way.When they got back to their own car....a medium colour blue metallic VW , they got in and something was thrown out of the window which we found this morning. These were reggae CD's not belonging to us but may be from another car they had broken into. If anyone has any information or if you have seen this VW parked up anywhere please pm me or contact the police,thank you.

I don't know how they got into my car but they have taken a ladies pair of brown leather gloves which were in the glove compartment and a small handsaw from the boot. My Sons bag was found (again) close to the garage in Hindmans Road. If anyone finds any items strewn along the road, please pm me

Whereabouts do you live?

My Sons car was broken into some time during the night, they jemmied the door and stole a bike and other items. They also took a white and grey Nike bag one that it more like a back pack type. If anyone has any information or finds items discarded along the nearby streets to Hindmans Road , please PM me Thank you

my friend also had her number plates stolen on February 25th. She is not too sure where the car was when they were taken but it had been parked in Melbourne Grove the night before. She didn't notice them missing until she was at ASDA so it could have happened there.

I remember when I first moved into Hindmans in 1967 that there were prefabs on both sides of the road and on the corner of Hindmans and Underhill was Johnny Pocknells coaches. Next to the yard were 3 houses which I suppose we're all that remained standing after the bombings. I just wondered whereabouts the dairy was as I have tried to google it but without success.
