  1. MissMadMoo...unnecessary sarcasm. I copied and pasted what the owner had posred on another site. I will ask the owner for more details but it was a pale blue vespa.
  2. For a friend. If everyone could keep their eyes peeled for my little blue vespa near the Dulwich area as it's been nicked, would really appreciate it, any word just let me know on here please. Cheers guys.
  3. Sue, I didn't point the finger at anyone in particular and am surprised that you felt I was inferring that it was you!!!!
  4. We were next door to DMC. The child in question had other medical issues, one of which was a mild allergy to bee stings. His lips and tongue were tingling slightly. If we had thought it to be an absolute emergency, then of course we would have rang for an ambulance. Amazing how some people can be so callous
  5. Remember this too. Great community practice???? http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,1376505,1376505#msg-1376505
  6. No idea. The road is open again now but the car is still there. One casualty taken to hospital.
  7. Avoid Hindmans Road. It's all blocked off with fire engines and an ambulance. A car has overturned.
  8. I just had this too. Came off BT wifi and logged back in and now its ok.
  9. Unless you are in Scotland or Northern Ireland the advice is not to ignore. The law has changed as outlined in this thread on money savings expert http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=4816822

  11. The law has changed and the advice is not to ignore them but to argue your case. There is a lot of free useful advice on that forum and people who are willing to help draft letters and appeals.
  12. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163 This covers a lot of these sort of fines and how to deal with them!
  13. This photo was posted online.
  14. I think the chalk marks that burglars use are more discreet. Might be wrong but well worth reporting.
  15. Any notifications from this forum go straight to my junk which is really annoying. I have added the EDF to my safe list but it makes no difference.
  16. Have a look on the forums if money savings expert, parking tickets and fines. You will be able to get help there

Dopamine1979 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Speaking of that stretch of Barry road what's the > deal with the bizarre newspaper clippings/written > rantings on the pavement? I had this posted through my letterbox about 2 months ago. None of my neighbours received it. Seemed like whoever wrote it wanted me to sign a petition. If you've found out what it is about, I'd be very interested!
  21. Massive lightening. Lit up the whole room!
  22. Yes, my friend has no water. She lives in Underhill
  23. I can't give a reason as to why my neighbour thought it would be ok to leave the items in the bin. What I do know is this : The girls had been previously and had been told not to go through the bins or else the police would be called. They chose to ignore this and came back and took items belonging to my neighbours late sister who had died suddenly from a massive stroke. Therefore this is theft. The bin was hidden but because they knew where to look they went straight to it....premeditated theft. A description is relevant and helpful to warn others and to see if they have been spotted anywhere else doing the same thing which it seems they have I was only trying to warn other residents.
  24. So, intexasatthemoment, you leave something outside, temporarily, just while you have work done indoors OR you hang washing out on the line OR have plants in your garden ...is that also silly? Is that a open invitation to someone to steal it? Either you are trying to sabotage a perfectly valid thread or goad me into an online argument. Enough said, we will leave it at that. Thank you for your contributions, helpful or otherwise.
  25. Sigh...bags in wheelie bin tucked behind a bush. Sigh...Eastern European. Totally unacceptable whatever the circumstances AND only trying to give the heads up seeing as there have been so many thefts in the area recently.
