Does anyone know a tabby & white cat with bushy tabby tail that lives on copleston road near copleston cente or Avondale rise? Saw it this eve, very frightened and hungry going down a Kentucky box. Poor little thing looked very dirty & hungry. Wouldn't come near me, & usualy have cat food in boot but Sod's law not this eve. It ran down Avondale rise towards Bellenden road. I know it's not Mabel, as sadly she was found deceased in their back garden. Anyone lost a cat fitting description? I will keep my eyes out for poor thing & see if I can first throw it food & 2nd, take photo. Anyone in area please keep eye out for it. Thx

Heard on LBC that a gang of bike thieves are hacksawing through bike racks and then using (reflective)tape to cover cut, making it look like part of rack. Then when bikes locked to them, they come back, take tape off and bobs your uncle. Thought I'd post this just incase you insane!! Cyclists don't know about it.

Has anyone other than me had trouble with logging into bank? I'm with talk talk and all my gadgets are saying wrong email and password entered, my bank is also saying wrong details entered. Just wondering if it's just me or is this something to do with the talk talk hack.

Having similar problems, my rabbits kept indoors for 4 months, no daylight due to scaffolding, no work at all done outside back of property. Estimated ?5000 for works! Right now drilling going on above scaffolding, men appearing above at any time without notice. So James barber what is the answer? What can us leaseholders and tenants do?

I've just seen the 2 women rummaging through bins!
Delainie replied to Callie's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Cle, if it concerned you so much why didn't you do the brave thing and tell them to get out of the garden? If I saw someone going through my neighbours bin I would have told them to get out. That's what's wrong with this society, watch it happen, take a photo then write about it. This is why people do things like this and far worse. People are very funny! -
Burglary on Crystal Palace Road (July 4th 2014)
Delainie replied to emlu11's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
So sorry this happened to you. On Oxenford street and oglander road same this has been happening, broad daylight scum levered sash windows open. Those screw locks that go right through either side of window is poss best for sash windows. Hope the scum get caught by a nice quiet German shepherd. -
Cat was reported to Celia hammonds ages ago, the cat,if the same one I know about, is an uncastrated male with a skin allergy . I can't imagine the owners care if they don't get him castrated, not only does he injure other peoples cats , he is also likely to get fiv. The cat I know of is fed by someone in marsden road who thinks its a stray. A few months ago it could just about walk.

I was walking my dog in oglander road & she was attacked by a Staffie type of lead. I wanted to thank the woman In her car for stopping to ask if we were ok, that was very kind of her. I'm just getting pretty fed up with irresponsible dog owners with their dogs of lead & think that by saying sorry & walking of is acceptable. My dog has a bite on her leg. I don't understand why the government doesn't make it law to have all dogs on leads when walking in the streets. I see people let there dogs go in & out of gardens, as though that's ok!!! Before anyone accuses me of being anti Staffie, they are great dogs, its always the owner I have a problem with & my dog is a mastiff x so she could handle herself, what if it was my 80 year old neighbour with his tiny dog? It isn't bloody fair. Now I have to be aware that as this dog is around at my neighbours often & walk with his dog of lead & my neighbours dog of lead, there is a high chance this will happen again & if both of lead, my dog will be in trouble.i just don't understand why the government doesn't implement change, people's children , adults, other dogs and cats all at risk because of some irresponsible people. Anyhow that's my moan for the year!

Thanks to all that also think it is barbaric.I have been informed by the police that he will be questioned if I see him again I have been told to call the police. The RSPCA said he broke sereral laws, and the parks by laws, and yes grey squirrels are protected under quite a few different laws. He stood two feet away and watched his dog savage the squirrel. He chose to let his dog do this, he got some sort of thrill out of it. When I confronted him he laughed and said they are vermin. There has been several incidences, a woman shaking a small tree while the dog waited underneath, in the hope the poor thing would fall, another with three small dogs and he often puts his terrier in the trees. I asked him if he lets his dogs kill squirrels, he said yes they've caught about twenty so far, so this is not a one of , it is a regular thing. Why don't they buy there dogs a ball. These people need to take a long hard look at theirselves, as they are just like the scum who organises dog fights. I am now ready to get evidence by filming as requested by police. I also had my brother as a witness and the two horrified kids who witnessed it too. thanks all, my faith has been restored .

Is is just me or has anyone else noticed the huge amount of people who entice their dogs to kill squirrels in Dulwich park. I saw a man stand close and watch his dog rip a squirrel apart, in front of two kids who shouted at him to put his dog on a lead. Is it some sort of sport for men without testicles? Are they wishful fox hunters who get a thrill out of seeing something torn apart. Do these people realise this is unlawful and although plenty call squirrels vermin, there are still laws to protect them. Do they feel this behaviour is acceptable for other people in the park enjoying walking their dog, or relaxing with friends and more importantly people with their children, having to witness. I have reported him to the RSPCA and the police and have been informed that I must call the police if I see him again as they want to speak to him. The word 'Chav' is often used to describe working class and with that label comes accusations,ie council estate tenants, benefit scroungers, staffie owners, etc etc, most people may assume the people I have come across in Dulwich park deriving pleasure from cruel behaviour are so called Chav's, well it is always well spoken middle class men. They to me are the real Chav's, they may have an education, however something is seriously missing from their brain. I believe that the poor squirrels have more balls than these meek sad evil sadistic twats. By the way I am working class, own a mastiff type dog, and proud my dog does not rip living things apart.
