Thank you for starting this thread bluesuperted. I for one am quite excited by this possibility (although annoyed for being so badly misled when looking into this). Like knomester I have applied for my son's school in September 2014 but will seriously be considering a 2015 reception start date. Like others have said- it is obviously a very personal decision and different for every child, but I think for a variety of reasons my 2010 August-born (premature so should have been September!) son would benefit from more time in nursery (without missing reception) and also not being the youngest in his year. Emotionally I'm really not sure he would be ready for reception this year. Questions I would have are: Would we defer entry, and keep school places allocated on current cohort or would we need to reapply with cohort below? I would also be concerned about consistency in practices across boroughs and schools, in case of (as we are planning) a move at some point?

My two year old didn't think much of the under 5 zone but absolutely loved turbine hall, and just generally enjoyed walking around tate modern. The new blackfriars station is impressive too if your child is a train lover. It is always a great trip when we go.

Thanks everyone! The Ameda Lactaline sounds good, a bit pricey though. Verds- have pmed you as I would be keen to borrow the lansinoh manual, just to see whether or not I need to fork out for the Ameda.

I am buying a new breast pump as my avent pump has just broken and I wanted to consult the wisdom of the forum before making my purchase.? I was generally happy with the Avent one and it had a lot of use but I was wondering whether electric ones were any better? And is it worth getting a double one?? I was considering the lansinoh double electric one, so if anyone has any experience of this one, it would be a great help. All advice much appreciated! Thanks

It's a small red leather Vivo barefoot boot- much loved (especially by me!) would be gutted to have lost forever as it his first pair of shoes. PM me with any info X

I had exactly the same thing, have had no problems breastfeeding, my baby took well to both boobs, but when it came to expressing I could express very well from one but hardly at all from the other. It's strange as supply was not a problem on the 'weaker' boob, just no luck expressing. I just used the stronger one and froze stuff in advance. Good luck.?

I went to a breastfeeding cafe run by midwife Anna Cannon- who was excellent. her post was cut, so the cafe doesn't run anymore but she seems to have gone private. Her website http://www.annacannon.co.uk/index.php hope you find good support. take care x -
