saw the "Pink lady" yesterday lunchtime in her pink coat down North x road. she wasn't with the chap with the "haunted look" on his face but she was giving cheery "happy new year" to everyone, me included. Lovely lady. maybe next time i'll sum up the courage to ask her name.

Just before the christmas break I was in Le Petit Chou and was tucking into my lunch when i had a kid rolling around, running around and screaming. The parents who had their noses in their Mocha Latte's looked up occasionally and told Raif "Not to run around sweetie there's a good boy because all these people are eating their lunch". I then had the darling Raif stand at my table staring at me with two candlesticks of snot running from his nose into his mouth. Nice!

My first game at the Lane was against Southampton in about 70-71 me thinks. we got beat 3-1. My favourite player was Cyril Knowles. In my opinion that club has never had a better full back since.

When i say the "Big Two" i mean the Rich clubs; Man utd and Chelsea. I agree with what you say- our defence does need sorting as well as our midfield but what i dont want to see is another 4 years down the line and we are still in exactly the same position. Especially if we are sacking yet another manager. In my opinion things started to go down hill when Keith Birkenshaw was forced out in '84. since then 14 managers? How many have Aresenal had in that time- 3? I have tickets for the return at WHL.

To fellow spurs fans here: Do you think Berbatov will go? If they do sell him i will be in two minds about whether to go and watch them anymore as that clearly indicates that the board have no ambition whatsoever in regards to challenging for the Champions league spots. All it says to me is that Spurs are a nursery club for the big two. What say you guys?

There's another couple of local celebs; two women, short stocky could be sisters who usually get about down LL. One wears her hood up and wearing large earphones. They are the shouty "Who the f*** are you looking at?" type. Ive stared danger in the eye many a time and tweaked the nose of peril, but i would not like to meet these two on a dark night. Or a light night for that matter. Anybody know who they could be?

Wasn't there a collection point at Sainsbury's on Dog Kennel Hill at one time? All the stuff went to third world countries. You just turn up and put the clothes into the large container there.
