Well it had to happen. Leeds lose their first game of season , 1-3 ( and Carlisle score in 90th minute). *sigh* Can we have our 15 points back please?

As we play all the day for Leeds United Elland Road is the only place for us With heart and soul for the goal that's clearly sighted We're out to toast each other from that that golden cup ! You should see how he runs speedy Reaney...... (......well he's probably a bit slower these days). 4-2 at full time...Dennis must have told them to ease off for old times sake....

I'm also a parent with children at 2 different schools in East Dulwich. I like to think my comments are based on what I know, and what I experience. Take as much salt as you need.

It's official ! The Plough now beats The Upland for category of "teachers lunching and getting back just in time for school" Friendly staff, good service and you can park.

Dulwich Park Fairy- if you have issues with a school for any reason then please address them to the school concerned. I do not log on to the East Dulwich Forum to hear nasty comments like yours.

Yes Curmudgeon -my 10 year old daughter made all those signs. She too was a little emotional. She was torn between being pleased that someone on the forum had noticed her efforts and feeling patronised at her drawings being called "kiddy" ! ( Admittedly not helped by me coming home saying "Hurrah they've got rid of that stupid tree")

That tree on Fellbrigg Road made a large dent in our car. And dents in lots of other cars. It had to go. Needless to say our tree hugging daughter spent all evening making those signs to save the tree........ She was very upset when she got home from school.

Richard Thomas has been on paternity leave. I have always found him helpful and approachable. He was very proactive in getting a new lollipop lady for Barry Road.

Let's here it for Leeds (again) Scored in the 90th minute last Tues to win 1-0 Scored in the 89th minute on Sat to win 1-0 (that will show you Yeovil ! ). We only lost our 100 % record against Gillingham previous Sat when they equalised in 90th minute The game isn't over.......... ps think we may still have best goal difference in league ! Give us back those 15 points ......

Moved to ED from Brixton in 1994 with my 8 month old baby. Thought the Blue Mountain was heaven, Daughter now at The Charter School. We had tea and cake this afternoon in Blue Mountain. She's still cheeky and cake still lovely.

My kids also go to Goodrich, have done very well there and are extemely happy. They also take in a lot of children with special needs who do very well there. Your remark about the teachers was inaccurate and rather offensive. Look at the results for the last 3 years since ofsted- they are excellent. A school is a lot more than its Sats results.

Most of the parets I know with kids at Goodrich love the school . On what basis does it "really underperform" Whar evidence do you have for the school being "incredibly complacent" "the teachers are a bit of a law unto themselves" Utter rubbish. Not helpful at all

David_C/East Dulwich Angst- fancy the Millwall fixture in April???? PS. R.I.P. Ian Porterfield but I am sick to death of THAT goal!!!!
