Yes I agree it has been a frustrating day but we really look forward to seeing the children tomorrow and again apologise for any inconvenience. The service company who provide the texting system were having their own problems today which meant that some texts were being sent and some not. Dear parent/carer, It is with regret, that we are unable to open the school to children on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd September because our Fire Alarm system has been affected by water, leaving the school in breach of Health and Safety regulations. We will keep you informed of developments as they become clear to us. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Please would you forward this email to any Goodrich parents/carers, as we don't have updated emails for everyone on roll. Please note that 2 text messages were sent; first text on the 31/08/10 and the second on the 01/09/10, but Wauton Samuel's (our service provider) network was down and some parents did not receive those messages. My brother has 3 kids and my mum works in a local Pre school in Roundhay so between them they may find someone ! If you pm me your e mail address then I could get my brother/sister in law to contact you directly.

If you would like to get more involved in the Friends please consider joining the committee. The AGM is at 7pm 23rd June in the conservatory followed by a drinks reception and concert. We will be discussing important changes to the membership structure and the constitution. Please attend it you can.

Due to a gas leak. The leak has been made safe but the gas supply is turned off and pupils cannot be admitted until repairs carried out. School web site will be updated asap as will text messages to parents. School staff will all be in school

Good for Kingsdale is all I can say and well done to all those parents who have chosen to send their children there in the last few years to support it.

Staff members have stood by the zig zags more than once in a while and been roundly abused !
