This particular study couldn't give any conclusive evidence because of lack of data and also because the vast majority of drivers were not respecting that limit anyway on the 20mph zones (86% of them!). It's a report on the impact of their implementations in these area (the 20mph signposts)- it's not a safety study of the actual speed (of course 20mph is safer!). Personally I think it's probably time to enforce these limits more strictly.

Peckhamplex also gets my vote. Just hop on a bus and it's just a 10 min journey (ok maybe not with the Rye Lane works).

Of course Peckham is the coolest place in London! People who make fun surely have not been there recently (probably pass Rye Lane using the bus from the station). Among others : Peckham Festival (have you been??), Peckham Levels ( https://www.peckhamlevels.org/ ) and the eateries there, Frank Cafe roof top bar, Bussey Building (and the best club night in London Soul Train (seriously just go you don't need to be a millennial!), restaurants and bars like Peckham Bazaar, Aside ( http://asidelondon.com/ what a gem!), Peddler, Artusi, Forza Win ( https://www.forzawin.com - read the Guardian review ), Miss Tapas, 200 Rye Ln, etc....plus it's a creative hub with many artists and small businesses ( https://www.copelandpark.com ). To be honest I'm quite glad to live few bus stops from there.

(a)beginning at 11 pm on the first day of the Chinese New Year and ending at 1 am the following day; (b)beginning at 11 pm on 5th November and ending at 12 am the following day; ©beginning at 11 pm on the day of Diwali and ending at 1 am the following day; or (d)beginning at 11 pm on 31st December and ending at 1 am the following day. The Fireworks Regulations 2004 prohibit anyone under 18 from possessing fireworks, and anyone except professionals from possessing display fireworks. The regulations also prohibit the use of fireworks at night (11pm - 7am) in England and Wales, with extensions for the following festivals: Until 1am on the night of Chinese New Year Until 1am on the night of Diwali Until 1am on New Year's Eve Until midnight on 5 November These regulations are enforced by the police. There is a penalty of up to ?5000 or 6 months in prison for breach of curfew.
