  1. My baby had severe chicken pox 2 weeks ago and now my other child has caught it for the 2nd time! So she's missing her xmas play and last days of school. :(
  2. Dr Samira is amazing. Highly recommended. Though it can take a while to get an appointment at this practice.
  3. Great to see this thread. I'm due in Jan 2015. I can do the 18th.
  4. Mr John Bidmead. He was also working at London Bridge Hospital and Lister Hospital and you can ask to see him via NHS from your GP. (But the waiting period for that could be very long.) http://www.thelisterhospital.com/consultant-search/mr-john-bidmead/
  5. Don't get your future read. Nothing good ever comes out of it. It's all sorcery and illusionism.

The two female doctors at 306 Medical Centre, 306 Lordship Lane are amazing! I couldn't praise them enough!
  7. I had my kids in King's Hospital. Had a great experience. The midwifes were so professional and supportive. Best of luck with your pregnancy. Hopefully you'll have a positive experience at Kings too.
  8. Mr Skinner used to be my music teacher. He was a great teacher and so jolly. Really sad to hear he is unwell. I pray he recovers quickly.
  9. I was there around 5pm and a worker in a shop said a 90 year old man was taken to hospital.
  10. I would like to highly recommend Dr Mahrina Choudry at 306 Medical Centre, 306 Lordship Lane, East Dulwich for your daughters. I first came across hearing Dr Choudry?s name when a group of women in a mothers and toddlers group were praising her saying she was a breath of fresh air in East Dulwich and that was very welcoming, optimistic and helpful etc. I urgently needed such a GP and I quickly signed up to the surgery Dr Choudry was at even though it was a bit far for me to travel ? but worth it. Dr Choudry is a truly brilliant GP and is literally the ideal Doctor to go. She has a true gift with her patients. She always gives me so much time during my appointments and thoroughly explains everything to me and has the endurance and kind-heartedness to actually listen to her patients and answer all their endless questions. She's just so sweet and the receptionists there are brilliant as well...so humble and polite too.
  11. A woman stuffed her trolley and bag with about ?300 worth of items and tried to escape! The workers tried to stop her and she tried to kick the glass door with her heels! The glass didn't break but it has cracks in it. The police were called and held her down. She lied saying her kids were in the car which is why officers were checking all the parked cars outside the shop.

I was thinking the same thing! I can't believe what's happening in Peckham. Gregs opp Fusion was set on fire...shops opp' near Mothercare have been smashed and looted! It makes me so angry and upset! Where are the Police and why can't they control what's going on?

  20. I always had the best experiences with the Peckham Pulse Creche staff and now they have moved to Dulwich Leisure Centre Creche. Would totally recommend them to anyone!
  21. I think if you're paying in cash - then you don't have to worry about paying her for sick days or paid holidays.
  22. Hi! Could anyone please recommend a Doula for me? I'm due to have my baby in January 2011 at Kings College Hospital and I've heard that there are a lot of benefits of having a Doula with you. If anyone here has had a Doula during their labour - please do share your experiences! Thank you!!
