The Forest Hill Road supermarket (aka "The Turkish shop" locally) is a gem. Huge variety of foods inside, and great range of fresh fruit and veg, herbs and flowers out the front. Much prefer it over the chain supermarket further down the road.

We went to the Alice Holt Forest for the first time last weekend: http://www.forestry.gov.uk/forestry/infd-92gegv Took approx 1.5 hours to get there. Very busy on arrival at the car park but once you're in the forest it's much quieter. Theres a cafe, a play area, also various installations for kids to climb on en route. Would highly recommend.

I did wait, and the cash was not taken back (it was only just hanging in there anyway so I doubt the machine had much purchase). I took it into the shop (not bank) the cashpoint is situated outside but they didn't seem interested in taking it, hence the post.

If it's yours let me know which cashpoint, the amount, and approx time of withdrawal. If no-one claims in a week I'll put it in a charity box. No guesses please! Thanks. Dan

Just seeen this post - I'd be up for getting involved with something new along these lines. I am a local Art Director/Designer and keen amateur photographer, so should be able to bring something to the mix. I look forward to hearing more. Dan
