Decorator / Bathrooms / Refurb - Gary Skinner - 07572 588222
ynwa replied to firstchoicegary's topic in Reviews
Another glowing recommendation for Gary. Having suffered considerable seasonable movement in our house in recent years it was time to get the cracks repaired. Gary was honest and knowledgeable in his recommendations, clearly explaining the risks/rewards in doing a ?quick fix? vs addressing the matter properly. He worked with respect to the house, covering all furniture Ahmed keeping the house as clean as possible despite the considerable amount of dust such a job creates. He raked out the cracks, sealed, bonded/rendered, repainted. Really happy with the work done and wouldn?t hesitate to use him again & thus recommend to others.- 134 replies

Royal Mail Sorting Office Closure Meeting..
ynwa replied to DulwichFox's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Not received post now for 4 days, whereas before the closure deliveries were reliably daily. Amy idea of a/the email address to contact Royal Mail to flag a concern? The website is unsurprisingly unhelpful. Thanks. -
You?ll quickly adapt. We ?compromised? 7 years ago when we opted for a larger house towards the top of Underhill, rather than nearer LL. Never looked back. It?s quieter, easier to park, closer to the Rye, house & garden bigger, etc etc, and the adjustment to an additional 10 min commute happened seamlessly. Plus LL is merely 5 mins on the bus or a 15 min stroll. Carpet Supplier and Fitter - Dulwich Carpet Company

Another recommendation for Stephen. Aside from being a jolly nice chap, from a business perspective he was polite, professional, considerate, tidy, punctual and overall did a splendid job of re-carpeting our entire house. Thanks Stephen. -

I've pretty much lost all patience with the dog that wilfully barks around this time EVERY NIGHT from the garden of one of the odd-numbered houses on Hillcourt Road. Does anyone know whose it is or which garden it resides in? Even better, if it's yours and you read this please show a little consideration to your neighbours. Very close to looking into my options RE speaking to the council about noise pollution.

Is anybody else's water off in Wood Vale?
ynwa replied to youngone's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Increasingly poor water pressure/supply on Hillcourt Road... -
It would appear that our car was subject to a seemingly opportunistic & unforced break-in on Hillcourt Road last / over night. I suspect that my wife failed to lock the car yesterday evening as there was no sign of forced entry and the alarm hadn't gone off. Our bad, obviously, but opportunistic thieves are obviously operating in the area so double/triple click the lock button on your key fob to be sure the car is locked (as I do!), and try not to leave valuables in the car. If anyone is offered a rather old iPod Touch which (I think) has 'icePod' engraved on the back of it, do let me know. Thanks.

Whoever you are, shut it up. It's regularly & incessantly annoying.
