  1. If it's rent increases, no offence to the following 2, but just how much mark up must the pasta place and cave de Bruno be putting on their stock?
  2. Ooh is it going to become an M&S?
  3. Has M&S opened yet?
  4. I'd kill to get my hands on one. 2 birds really
  5. They have a depot in west norwood.im in nunhead. I can take it to them if you like, however, I cannot do it until this Friday. Pm me if you want my help.
  6. No second night out can help. Pm me of you want any help. Meantime I'll go see him
  7. We have a mate who might be able to help...pm me and I'll send you his details
  8. I get my van weighed when I go to the tip at Devon st (off old Ken road). So they should be happy to weigh your car if you ask nicely!
  9. We lived in a basement flat parallel to you on east dulwich road and had a few floods. We put it down to high water table and even with tanking put in we'd get the occasional flood, usually after heavy rain. That and the fact that there is an ancient river bed right underneath this location- sadly not much I think you can do. The tanking definitely helped but it's not 100% resistant.
  10. Dulwich is Sydenham. And full of hyacinth buckets. Just saying
  11. We moved from brixton (ferndale road) to east dulwich 3 years ago; we moved because we felt it was time to wind down from going out every night, which brixton and clapham offer up easily, and plant some roots and (dare I say it), settle down. Which of course is a nonsense and what Peckham (and by that what I really mean is lordship lane east dulwich) offers is a lively nightlife should we want it but also decent shops and vast open green spaces (we have a dog). We started in east dulwich but bought recently in Peckham- cross the invisible line and you get more bricks and mortar for your pound Welcome!
  12. I'm no Columbo, but it strikes me you are being singled out. Which would freak me out enough to demand the police do something about it. Vandalized twice in a week? What are the chances? About a zillion to one I'd say...
  13. Have you subscribed? I did for one month so I could play tracks without ads at my wedding, but once that one month was up I couldn't transfer to anything other than a machine with wifi; maybe because the iPod is non wifi you cannot transfer?
  14. When I lived in clapham, a 15 year old boy was machine gunned to death in his own bedroom. Walked past the estate he lived in daily on my way to the tube and never once felt threatened by the area. Underbelly indeed. Thing about clapham I felt in my years there was it was a playground for post grad middle class students on a stepping stone to a life in the country. Or east dulwich it appears. Glad I moved to east dulwich all those years ago! If only we had a marks and Spencer or something...
  15. Massive improvement. Looking forward to frequenting
