Just wait until your INGERLAND win the World Cup - the fermented and stirred patriotic fervour will lead to clamour for the hardest brexit imaginable. 2 world wars and 2 worlds cups/

Are houses selling around here at all?
flocker spotter replied to James's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
all houses will sell if they are priced at a level that people want to pay - if your gaff is not getting any interest, then maybe there is a clue in there somewhere -

its a sideshow- like rats eating their young to survive the hard time - this class have no shame. It is a nonsense to think that anything will chance due to the public evisceration of one of their kind.

its party first, people last. She will do whatever has to be done to ensure her party survival. like a grotesque constantly mutating virus. Remember, they work for themselves.

Someone trying to shot fox
flocker spotter replied to Gaynor Hill's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
let not conflate this cat killer issue with every incident in the SE - anyone shooting or displaying a gun in public should really be reported to the cops on 999 immediately - its not really an issue for judgement - its a gun in public -

If this country has experienced > a mirage of democracy for so long, what replaces > it? And how? option 1 would ensure the SB would be kicking in my door before midnight and me being led out of the house in an orange jumpsuit,so lets not go down that route Option 2 would be anything that breaks the strongold of the current party system that is still effectively based on the feudal squire layout of yore - so a more pr based structure, possibly using the party list model as a driver- but a turbocharded version with greater accountability. option 3 is me in charge basically a break from tradition is needed, any break would be a start-it is unfit for purpose and as we can observe, is clearly destined to prioritise self preservation of its own political class at any cost. i dont want to go on about shitting brexit, but this is a perfect example of a manufactured crisis that keeps eveyone occupied on events and out of the change arena.bit of a weasly answer but i am open to anything at the minute

i may have a beef with the project but my post was in response to a now (totally removed) post that adds nothing to your thread and a poster i have a family sized side sirlion with. i can be petty and unyeilding but not wholly motivated by a desire to create a environment resembling Grozny c. 1995 within this thread -
brexiteers have a tenous and ill founded grasp on the real world sometimes, as do EU flag waving remainers. this isn't about racism. Brexit will never bring about this poorly defined ideal of freedom any more than remaining in the EU will. The sooner everyone realises that they have been sold a mangy pup over the past century and have been taken the piss out of , the sooner we can move on and actually distill something good out of this. big pictures are better than thunbnails, arguemnts about racism on either side are a diversion and a convenient sideshow that takes the focus away from the inherent bstructural failings of the distorted mirage of democracy we have been spoon fed since birth.

Brexit is a symption of the infection. When we focus on process and minutae, we can miss the big picture, even it it staring us in the face. There is something deepy wrong in UK society- as much as i detest the bull headed gammon ramblings, I dont think that many of them are able to view the big picture- and i hate to say it, i can kinda understand their tubthumping to a degree- brexit isnt going to make any of these ills go away

back to the OP as much as accessing the local forum is good & a few weekends walking around, I usually have a gander at the local newspapers etc as preparation when moving house or a long term stay somewhere new. it usually give some background to the place. In this case however, do not read any of the rags that serve the area. they are a cavalcade of unerringly bad news that in no way reflects the nature of the place. good luck OP -

Whitten has piles of them outside- I have bough them singly before -
yes/ no- it however is not age specifc but EURO3 or 6 (petrol vs derv)is the trigger. you are not obliged to sell your car but you will have to pay my neighbour has a 993 carerra with 25k on the clock.he will not be able to use in in the area without paying the ULEZ charge after the full start date. throwaway comments about certain outcomes being "unlikely" are not helpful or based on fact but completely in line with much of the pointless posting on this thread.
