Let?s not forget that there are families out there that are devastated with yesterday events, have a bit of respect!! -
Fortnightly blue bin collection not enough?
WrightC replied to Mrs TP's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
No nothing mentioned about crushing cans, just bottles. However I find if I don?t crush my cans my bin gets full too quickly. -
I totally agree with OP! Every Tuesday evening I have to search for my bin within my neighbours gates, my bin is clearly mark with my door number, however this makes no difference.

Where to have a baby shower in ED..?
WrightC replied to mooncake's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Have you tried All Fried Up on East Dulwich Road (02077326688)? I know it sounds random, however I always see parties in there and not just children parties. They also supply Tea & cakes. My friend holds baby music classes there on a Tuesday morning if you interested for when little one comes along. -

Totally agree Sue. I also sent a follow up email, and attached this thread.

Brown bin collected yesterday Blue bin not collected. I'm on Crystal Palace Road. My recycling was last collected on the 27th September. I called the council and my blue bin should be collected by the 24th October, I mentioned most Blue bins on Crystal Palace Road was not collected and will all the blue bins be collected by the 24th, she said no, apparently if a non collection is not reported, it will not be collected. I suggest if you live on Crystal palace Road report your non collection on 02075252000 or via the website.

14A (Basement) Crystal Palace Rd noise nuisance

Maybe then we can have this conversation > again. I live extremely close to 14a, this happens once a year for the nice lady birthday, not every weekend!! I have in the past knock on her door asking to turn the music down and she has been very accommodating. The music was not on until 3am, the music stopped at 11.30pm, as it does every year. If you are going to post messages on here, please be honest. You also mention, the music disturbs your child who?s bedroom is next door. There are no children living either side on 14a I will mention this post to 14a, hopefully she will reply too. -

I have the same problem too. I live on Crystal Palace Road, they gather outside my bedroom window shagging etc, very annoying!! I once read that moth balls are good, as foxes hate the smell, however i haven't tried.

We need more CCTV on the residential roads not just on the high streets!! Sorry to hear about your burglary TJ. I was burgled last year and my neighbour reported to the police that they remember seeing two workmen dressed in overalls; however my neighbour assumed these men had jobs on my road. There seem to be a lot of daylight burglaries in Dulwich, I wonder if they are linked.

Susan Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > yep we have one in our back garden on Crystal > palace rd....now has an apple tree growing above > it! Mystery solved! I also live on CP Road; a few years ago I had my garden landscaped. The gardener came across a metal ladder buried (2 ft down) in concrete at the back of my garden. At the time I wondered what could it be.. I also have an Apple tree growing above it now, very strange..

Our house was broken into last night... (February 9th)
WrightC replied to thfc2001's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Sorry to hear that THFC.. They won?t come and it will get better. I was the same last year, I'd jump and the littlest noise. The window bolts that Will dex mentioned above are good. Also contact victim support to get window vibration alarms; they are very effective and FREE!! I also got an alarm system fitted when I was burgled and it?s a piece of mind whilst I'm out. Good luck... -
You should play online; as you receive an email if you win which you can then transfer the funds to your bank account. You also get a reminder email when your ticket runs out i.e. if you usually play weekly for two weeks or more. Try it you won?t regret it Good luck!!
