Did anyone else experience a power failure this morning on CP Road? woke up at 6.05am to no power for 15 minutes, apparently it went off at 4.01am according to my CCTV. wanted to check this is an area issue and not just my address!

I have plantation shutters and unfortunately they do not block out the light. I wish I purchased the blackout now, however I was advised that the frame is very deep too! I usually use an eye mask if I want to sleep in ;-)

Does anyone know if the Post Office (near m&s) is open today?

Hi there, I wondered if all issues mentioned are now rectified by Saltash? I live on Crystal Palace Road, the quality home investment programme started in January 17. I haven't experienced major issues with Saltash as yet. My windows were painted shut, however I was told by the liaison officer before works started that windows are usually painted shut, once the windows are painted Saltash will arrange with the tenant to open them. I was only told this after mentioning the numerous complaints on this thread. Yesterday a contractor wanted to start painting my front door after 4pm, which is ridiculous, gloss paint can take up to 6hrs to dry and I was not prepared to have my door open until late evening, however if I was at work I dread to think how I would have got into my home. I am keen to know if any of the issues mentioned in this thread have been sorted? If yes, how long did they take to rectify the problem? Thanks in advance

Car wheels stolen for the 2nd time
WrightC replied to iainhagger's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Sorry to hear that Iain. Two wheels were also stolen from my Mercedes early last year, I'm on Crystal Palace Rd. I reported it to the police, but with no joy. I had to change my locking nuts too, apparently this is very common according to Mercedes dealers, which wasn't nice to hear at the time. -

Is either of these the case for you? Hi, Thanks for your advise. However I have tried leaving a note on my front door requesting my mail to be posted into my letter box and my mail is still left on the floor. My letter box is not tight or have tight spring, and also located waist height! I cannot see why my post is left on the floor but pure ignorance or a dodgy postman (as per my original post, I have been cloned three times in six months) which is why I started complaining to Royal Mail in the first place. -

Minder, unfortunately no, I haven't seen the weekend postman / woman, unless I literally camp at my front door on a Saturday morning which isn't really an option. Thanks for your advice. minder Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > WrightC, have you spoken to your postman/woman? > Realise that might not be possible if you're out > etc. but just a thought? -

Thank you all for your messages and advice! I assumed more people had this issue too, however I will still go ahead with another complaint with the manager at Sylvester Rd. -

Hi Lynne, I will be printing this thread and taking this to Sylvester Road this week and I will mention your post issues too. Btw you are at threat if your post is also left on your outer porch, as all an opportunist will need is your name and address and your identity could be compromised. Is anyone on here experiencing post being left outside their front door on the floor by the post man/woman and not being pushed through the letter box? In the last six months I have had post being left outside my property on the floor or thrown on my blue recycling box particularly on a Saturday, sometimes my post is clear marked Private & Confidential, however this makes no difference. I have taken pictures of this and complained several times to Dulwich sorting office on Sylvester Road with no joy. This is becoming a problem for me as I have been cloned 3 times in the last six months, The last time I complained I was told one of the postal staff at Sylvester Rd is under investigation. Today my new credit card and my pension statement both clearly marked private and confidential was left outside my property on the floor, I'm at a loss as my letter box is literally just above where the post was left. I am going back to Sylvester Rd next week and wanted to see if anybody else is having this problem, surely It can't just be my address. Any advice is welcome. Thanks
