  1. With immediate effect, there will be no more baby music at The Herne on Fridays. Further details to follow on a different session. Thank you for your support. Kim
  2. Really helpful, thank you! Will also follow up Sydenham venues, thanks for that too.
  3. Brilliant, thank you for your feedback. Will keep you posted.
  4. I am so glad you are enjoying the sessions at The Dish. Yes, the additional class will follow a similar format. The only thing that might be slightly different is the age-group which may go up to two years but this has yet to be decided. Thank you for your input, this is really helpful.
  5. Wednesday is a definite possiblity but I've been told there is another music group on a Weds morning in Nunhead, though I have no idea who it is run by or where it is exactly. If anyone could shed any light, that would be great. I only see the point in setting up an additional session where there is a need so happy to go ahead if there is a real interest. Thanks for replying!
  6. Yes I have. In fact, I am in talks with a venue in Sydenham at the moment which, unfortunately, is a little pricey so I am looking for alternative venues in that area. If you have any suggestions, please do throw them my way :). Thanks for replying!
  7. Hi - are there any parents or carers with babies who would be interested in a music session for 'babies only' (or mixed baby and toddler session)? We have use of a space at The Old Nuns Head but not sure whether Friday would be a good day as I understand that Nunhead Library run a busy rhyme time session on a Friday morning. Our session would run at 11am for 40 minutes and include a range of activities including musical props, parachute and bubbles! We already have a busy baby music group at The Dish and The Spoon in Nunhead on a Thursday afternoon and now looking to put on an additional day. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on days and times that would suit. Many thanks Kim Tippee Toes
  8. Hi there Someone has kindly alerted me to this post so I am sorry it is a little late. I take the sessions on a Thursday at The Herne. You are right - the session is 'supposed' to start at 10am, however, families arrive any time from 9.30am. For health and safety reasons, I need to cap the numbers and in fact, today, we had many more than I had anticipated so the class was at maximum capacity. I am so sorry you were unable to get into the class. I put on a second 11am session in the hope that some families would try the later session, though I am sure the timing doesn't work for all. I am toying with the idea of bringing the session forward to 9.45am and the second session at 10.45am but will confirm this after the half term. I am also going to drop you a PM now with another option! Many thanks Kim Tippee Toes
  9. It will be at The Herne Tavern, 2 Forest Hill Road, SE22. Hoping to kick off after half term (beginning of November). Thanks Kim
  10. We have use of a venue on Saturday mornings to put on a weekend Tippee Toes music class in ED. Age range: 6 months to 3 years. Anyone interested? It would be a 10am slot. Best Kim - Tippee Toes

  13. Apologies for the short notice but there will be no music group this morning due to my daughter being very unwell. I hope to be back next week Thursday. If you are looking for an alternative, Beas Baby Bop is running at Rye Books on Upland Road at 10.30. ?5.00 drop in for babies and toddlers. Thanks Kim Tippee Toes
  14. Please note there will be no music or soft play this week at any of our ED venues. If you are intersted in drop-in music sessions throughout the summer (w/c 23 July onwards), please PM me. Many thanks Kim

  16. Hi...I need a child's soldier outfit by Friday for a school play. Anyone know where I can get one locally? Age 7/8 years. Thanks in advance. Kim
  17. My children go to Oakfield, Years 1 and 2. There are several children at the school that need extra support so it's really unfortunate to hear a child being declined as they require the same. So sorry to hear that. Kim
  18. Hi I've just realised that my 7yo son has a French day at school this Friday and it really is the wrong time of year to find a beret. Does anyone have one that I could borrow in return for a bottle of wine? I would be super grateful! A necklace of garlic and onions would be fab too but I'm thinking that may be a little too far fetched :) Thanks in advance. Kim

  22. Next week, we will be running two sessions over half term at The Herne, 2 Forest Hill Road, SE22. 25. Email the school. I know Oakfield Prep will happily answer your queries. There is an after school facility (where they have snacks, do arts and crafts, toy/construction acitivies, playground activities etc) from Monday to Friday until 6pm from reception upwards. The actual club activities do not start until Year 1. Good luck with your decision!
