  1. Pheasant spotted on goose green today!
  2. It had another deep clean yesterday I believe. They've had a tough season, not helped by people leaving rubbish in the water, which blocks the filter
  3. Yes! https://www.littleherocompany.com/ They are fantastic! They did my sons party and kept all the kids busy and engaged! They do only provide the entertainment and invites, so the decorating is down to you, but that qas fine by me. Thoroughly recommend
  4. There is a huge wargaming group based in Dulwich village that may be able to help you. Many of the members have children who also play so they mayt be able to set something up for your son informally. They are a friendly group, despite the look of their website, and would definitely be able to point you in the right direction. http://www.salute.co.uk/
  5. Thank you. I've messaged her
  6. Did your child lose their micro scooter at Dulwich park yesterday? If so, I may have it! My son took the wrong one by mistake and I didn't realise until we were home. Message me with a description, when it went missing and where it was. I'd be gutted if I returned it to the wrong person. Thank you and sorry for any upset the loss of the scooter has caused x

  8. Sounds about right. I went a while ago and joined friends but the description fits. We stayed in the family field and there were lots of family's there.
  9. LLangenith is right on the beach too and has decent facilities
  10. Can you post a pic?
  11. http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?29,1612768,1691720#msg-1691720 A WhatsApp group apparently x
  12. There will be a summer babies club on here and probably Facebook. Have a look through the threads. These groups are great - I still meet with my group from 2013 and am part of winter 2015 too. I didn't do nct either and these are a great way to get out of the house!
  13. There is an active Facebook group that stemmed from here for winter babies 2015/2016. You should find it pretty easily and can request to join. There are at least weekly meet ups for lunch and a friday pub club. There is also plenty of rrecommendatios
  14. You only get results if there is a problem and if there is a positive result you will be contacted asap as early treatment of problems can prevent later issues and outcome. Any problems and you would be called to the Evelina asap.
  15. So do all phil and teds have the baby on the bottom? Thanks btw!
  16. I'm going to sound really stupid here, but which ones do you have the babies on the bottom in a cocoon. I can't see my toddler being happy to go in the bottom seat.
  17. Hello Anyone know if there are a few Halloween events in the area on Friday? I know about the discos at the Ivy House but are there anymore? Last year here was a lovely party at the plough but haven't seen anything like it this year. TIA
  18. All of the local rugby clubs will be showing the games involving the home nations and are usually very welcoming to newcomers. Flying pig seems to be the best pub for rugby these days though, after the demise of Hoopers and the old Mag
  19. You can usually buy some at the airport if you dont want to open and taste...
  20. The nuns head in nunhead let a large group of us use their room upstairs for free and self cater. It was midweek though. A Sunday afternoon may prove problematic for a lot of venues tho as there is no such thing as a quiet Sunday in east dulwich. East dulwich constituency club is surprisingly ok too... cheap bar, large space, nice gardens and budget friendly.
  21. Lovely article, thank you
  22. I was about to mention Aveeno. It seems to be a miracle cream for bad excema - anecdotally I have had many parents tell me that it revolutionised their childs excema care.
  23. I had hamsters as a young child, and whilst I got very upset when they died, I always wanted another one. I learnt loads and life, death and responsibility. We had two 'females' to start with and it wasn't until we found 12 babies we realised that wasn't true. It wasn't pleasant tbh as the mum started eating them as she was too young and couldn't cope with so many babies so my sister and I hand reared 5 of them successfully. It depends on the child I think, but they suited me very well. I even had some at uni. They can be very entertaining and it is well worth getting them a hamster ball or large cage with assault course. yes I got bitten occasionally but I usually deserved it and it really didn't matter.
