  2. Can't see the Arsenal getting a result in the camp nou tonight, so please Le Boss don't risk Cesc and RVP. Save them for the FA cup tie and for the league.

Blackpool unlucky last night, at times they were playing like champions and not the other way round. Ian Holloway you continue to win neutrals admiration for your attitude.

  7. Outrage from the Manc fans on here raises a wry smile from yours truly and put me in mind of the famous saying from Corporal Jones on Dads Army "they don't like it up 'em". To express outrage when their past and present players have been as guilty as any of commiting such challenges is more than a little rich.

Strange. Arsenal fans have been saying things like this for years, remember when the Neville brothers kicked Reyes out of the FA cup semi a few years back. Still, onwards and upwards eh?

  12. There were many very poor ref decisions over the weekend. Hutton, Bramble, Rafael and Carragher should have taken the walk of shame. Hutton denied the wolves player a clear goal scoring opportunity, and how the ref chalked off Wolves goal is beyond me. If anything it was a foul on the player and not the keeper. Rafael and Carraghers fouls were both shocking. Bramble should have walked for a blatant pull back on Arshavin, and his goal should have stood. Now, on the topic of shocking tackles. Perhaps those clubs on the receiving may (but I very much doubt it) understand why the Arsenal get annoyed by such outrageous challnges. Can someone tell me why Ferguson made the decision not to speak to the media a day before the game at Anfield? Good to see Bobby Zamora back in action and back on score sheet. Still all of this should make the league run in very interesting.

Kolo Toure could face a 2 year ban for taking performance enhancing drugs............lets hope he kept the f**king receipt.

  18. Is the advertising industry populated by people who are worse than people who populate estate agents, the music industrty, publishing, finance, banking etc? I think there are scum bags in all professions and I'm not sure advertising is any worse than any other profession, if you can call it a profession.
  19. Everton striker Victor Anichebe has settled out of court with Newcastle after instigating legal action over a tackle from Kevin Nolan in 2009 that left him sidelined for 11 months. Interesting development, wonder how many other players may follow suit.
  20. Stoke boss Tony Pulis believes Demba Ba is an accident waiting to happen after West Ham agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal for the Senegal striker. Ba's ?7.1m move to Stoke collapsed when he failed a medical because of a knee injury, and Pulis said he could not have gone through with the deal in good faith. No sour grapes there then.
