  2. So what would improve MOTD? I think we need presenters/pundits to put forward much more in depth analysis, rather than the bland, "yeah he made some good runs", and all on the sofa nodding sagely when one of them shares their wisdom with us. How about putting a more challeging view poiint across to us, the audience, and perhaps the pundits actually disagreeing with each other and having enough intelligence to say why they disagree. As most of these guys are former footballers who've played at a very high level, surely they have far more to contribute than they do currently?

  4. A lot has been made recently of the foramt of MOTD, many have said it is lazy and far too cosy. Discuss. I agree with this view by the way, it comes across as being jobs for the boys.
  5. Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has backed Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce's claims that he could manage one of continental Europe's top sides. "How do people know that if he was given the AC Milan job he couldn't do a better job than anybody else?" he asked. Delusional or what.

  7. Defensive frailities glaringly obvious again last night despite the scoreline. Rooney out for 3 weeks as aresult of an "injury". Hmmm, only the most cynical among us would think that it will also allow some time for the dust to settle of his domestic issues and that there is no "injury" at all.

  9. Beg pardon, who, Atila???? I've mentioned a fact as Benitez, bless him, once said. Spurs haven't won the title for 50 years. Fact. You kicked the desperation thing off Mr. Lush, not I. Desperation is mentioning the number of injuries to the squad as the reason for a defeat. I'm happy to admit we lost to WBA because we were poor, try admitting the same about your perforamnce against the Arsenal and West Ham, you find it very cathartic. edited due to rubbish spelling!!

  11. As far as I'm concerned the only reason the 4-1 win was of any consequence was because it was against Spurs, if Arsenal don't win it I couldn't care less. I'd rather have had the 3 points against WBA. Talking of desperate, I would be if I'd waited almost 50 years to win a title. But I guess Spurs fans know that this isn't gonna happen in their lifetime so its no longer an expectation.

  17. Try buying freshly baked bread from one of the many Turkish deli/bakers in and around south east London, very good and not at all expensive. There's a Turkish Food Centre opposite Catford Bus Garage, apart from the bread the rest of the fare on offer is exquisite.
  18. Fabianski in goal for The Arsenal tonight, and Mr. Wenger claims he has total belief in his abilities. Hmmmm. In the same way that I think Spurs have a genuine chance of winning the title after a 50 year wait and that Mr. Redknapp really is as good as he thinks he is. Mr. Wenger you are genuinely deluded, get rid and get a decent keeper, two decent defenders, a decent tough tackling Midfielder a la Viera, and a decent striker. Other than that, no worries!!!

Can't see them being beaten > enough times (if at all). Despite the fact that they lost, and deservedly so, to Man City on Saturady I can't see beyond them for the title. Arsenal were woeful on Saturady, well done to WBA. The Arsenal defending was non existent and Almunia was worse. What to say about Fergusons charges? Hmmm, conceding two goals in each of their past four games doesn't have the look of champions about it. If Arsenal can't beat the likes of WBA at home and Ferguson can't get the better of Bolton, they've got no chance. Also well done to both City and the Hammers
