Really? Are you sure about that, and where do you get your info from? My own recollection is somewhat at odds with this and certainly there has been a large west indian community in this area since the late 60's from my own experience.
  2. Sleep Walk - Johnny and Santo
  3. Playing devils advocate here, but how come there is an Irish Festival but there seems to be a dearth or complete lack of festivals celebrating other cultures resident in the area, such as Arabs, Greeks, Turks, Afro- Caribbean, etc. Why just this one nationality?? And why should the council tax payer be expected to foot the bill? I can't believe for one minute the Irish outnumber all other Nationalities, races and creeds within the area.

  6. Just been reminded that on 31st March ten years ago, a young icon of the modern game passed away prematurely. I am of course talking about the one and only much missed David "Rocky" Rocastle. At a time when egomania was just about to hit our game, he was refreshingly grounded and an all round decent human being. RIP "Rocky"

You might not be the first nor the last, but its a sweeping general statement and daft to boot. A cyclist that knocks down a person can be as equally fatal as a motor car. Lets not be so blinkered.
  9. Well I can't say I'm surprised that more pedestrians are injured by cars than either cycles or motorbikes, after all how many million of the things do we have on the roads? Also not ALL cyclists ride on the pavements but some do. Unless the rider is a small child there is no excuse for doing so, and is it not against the law? The pavements are for pedestrians not arrogant cyclists, and if as a pedestrian I choose to use my mobile phone, thats up to me. I shouldn't have to think twice about doing so because some lame brain cyclist decides its better to ride on the pavement. Sorry I've no time for these people.

I don't think he's been worthy on inclusion for a while, and the yellow card kind of sums up evrything about the guy that I dislike.
