  1. Thanks for your thoughts - of course I did contact 101 as well before posting on this forum.- As there have been over 1000 views on this post I am sure by increasing peoples awareness that can only be a good thing, its called being Neighbourly.
  2. Just to be aware, I stumbled across a very dodgy looking character outside my house on Underhill Road this morning. Dressed in a blue hoody, mixed race skin headed lad - was peeping into cars on the street, moved on when I clocked him. I then drove off to work but did an about turn to see him peering into a car at the intersection of Underhill and Belvoir Road. He then moved on - Please keep your eyes open as the dude was clearly looking for an easy target
  3. Hello there My daughter is starting Reception at SHS in September. Are you going to the intro event on Monday? My older daughter is also going there, joining yr 3 and knows quite a few girls doing the same thing but we don't know anyone else starting Reception so it would be great to meet everyone next week. All the best Jo and Amelia
  4. The changing of Hoopers licence is totally fair and long overdue, and it now falls in line with that of other pubs in residential areas. There wasn't just one 'grumpy old sow' complaining about the pub it was pretty much the whole street and they had all tried to sort things out with Hoopers in person and got nowhere. It seems to me it was a much better sob story for Hoopers to blame one person and make it out to be 'one woman's grudge against the pub' as this would get more of their patrons to write in support.
  5. yes pleaae! I think Lordship Lane would benefit massively from this - not to mention my cooking. Bored of going to Beckenham.
