Hi there, I have a few spaces left for this terms Saturday Art Club! This term will be a textile term, we will make our own garments, tie die, learn how to use a sewing machine, make a puppet and a festive Christmas ornament! The term will be held at Rosemead prep in West Dulwich with two sessions, at 10.30-12.00 and 13.30-15.00. For 7-11 year olds. Cheeky C's playgroup starts on Monday 13th January! To anyone who has attended before, CHANGES have been made thanks to everyone suggestions on how we can improve and save on costs. From 09.30-10.00 parents are welcome to help to set up At 11.00 there will be story time from 11.45 there will be packing up time We run from 10.00-12.00 The prices have gone down Cheeky C's runs on Mondays Thursdays and Fridays from 10.00-12.00. The Cheeky C's: Construction Corner: (garage, duplo, trains and train track, cars, mega blocks, wooden blocks, castle, popoids and huge building blocks perfect to build the tallest tower!) Camping Corner: (pop up tents, tunnel, fire engine tent, castle tent, peppa pig tent, circus tent, and sea world tents!) Creative Corner: (plasticine, shape cutters, rolling pins, stickers, paper, face masks, crayons, paints, pens, colouring pages, drawing pad where children can pick up a crayon and create masterpieces!) Hi thank you all for your comments they are really helpful, it is a shame about the price it hasn't changed in two years so maybe this round of parents price is a problem where as last years it was fine? Unfortunately I'm a 22 year olds girl I nanny and work at a pub which funds the art clubs and playgroup that i have set up. When I set up the playgroup there were only church playgroups which seems they must of changed now but before they were cold, toys filthy and not very nice. Parents really liked the fact that there was not a schedule or specific time to attend so no stories or songs, and appreciated the proper coffees and cakes that were on offer. I based my price on crystal palace one o'clock club which use to charge over ?4.80 per child and ?4 per sibling. It seems like price is an issue and i feel so stupid for starting the playgroup now as I am still yet to cover my cost, I thought the greendale hut was great it is cleaned daily has carpet and is a good size with a car park and free parking near but now with such high rent as its an hour before and after to set up and pack away to still pay I am going to have to close the playgroup as there are now much more cheaper alternatives. I am glad to know it is not something I am doing wrong just the price which is out of my control. I will be closing the playgroup after the february half term unless we get a sudden big demand. Hi all, Cheeky Cs playgroup has been running for three years and this is the worse autumn term we have had, normally this time of year is always busy at the moment we only have three children with their carers/parents here.
