  3. one of the all time legendary commentators is gaa commentator micheal o muircheartaigh, hes well renowned back home for his in game quips, eg regarding the cork left half back sean og o hAilpin "Sean Og O hAilpin, his fathers from Fermanagh, his mothers from Fiji, neither a hurling stronghold" and on another cork man "Anthony Lynch the Cork corner back would be the last man to let you down, his people are undertakers" check out "an fear rua" for more classic quotes.

  14. somehow i dont think the area is decorated in swastikas. anyway on the subject of right wing politics, swastikas etc, if anyone is interested jean-marie le pen is selling his bullet proof car on e-bay to raise some needed funds, might come in handy when the black shirts start marauding down the lane.
  15. i dont think arrogance is the full answer, forgetfullness also plays its part. im not hands free and there have been 1 or 2 occasions when the phone has gone of and i,ve went to pick up and answer, only just to remember in time, its easily done.

I kid you not. Brilliant. It also revealed > that we sent 12 year old boys to death for > stealing a piece of cloth....hhhmmmm. i read in the paper last week there were a couple of blokes done for harrassing a dolphin in folkestone.
  17. im with louisa on this one,bit of an over reaction folks, yes we all know too well the swastika was hi-jacked in the past by hitler and his cronies and what happened before and during ww2, but some how i dont think a few swastikas daubbed around the place is going to be the work of an underground nazi sect in east dulwich or peckham for that matter, and that lordship lane will soon reverberate to the sound of jackboots with mass rallies held on peckham rye. its likely a prank by a couple of drunken eejits specifically designed to rile the good citizens of our area, and i bet if they had the ability to read this thread they would be killing themselves laughing at how well its worked.
  18. me too, with gallons of onion gravy.
