Dead cat (black and white) lordship lane
Dondee replied to theron2's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I?m so sorry for you all. Although heartbreaking, I?m glad that you can perhaps get some closure. I?m not sure if you realised he was missing. I was really gentle with him, and wrapped in my woollen shawl. I have a pet and I just hope that if something like that happened, that someone would take her to the vets. Lots of love x -
Dead cat (black and white) lordship lane
Dondee replied to theron2's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I took the cat to the vet. It was so upsetting to see so many people just walking and driving past. I wrapped him/her a liner and shawl, placed in box and drove to NHV. Gave him some dignity. I was in the vet this morning and as of yet they hadn?t located an owner. -
Any feedback good or bad greatly appreciated. I?ve been offered this for my son to start in September, although it wasn?t in my 6 choices. Feeling a bit apprehensive, as I?ve not visited it obviously. But What I?d heard in the past, wasn?t the best.

Was saddened to hear that this time next month, the PO delivery office in Sylvester Road will be closed. It?s been a ?landmark? site my whole life here & I?ll be sad to see it closed. It?s convenient, easily accessible & I?ve always been able to park outside. Not really an ED issue or gossip, just sharing my thoughts -------------- Admin here, There is already a discussion about the sorting office: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,180 So I am locking this one

I?ll be using any other PO except this one... fell quite sad about it!!
-
It?s open. What a shambles! Queues out the door (not for the PO counter) unhelpful staff, poor layout...

Does anyone else find the amount of pushchairs taking up the children?s part of the library extremely annoying? Surely it?s time to try & find an alternative to stepping over hundreds of bugaboos with babies & toddlers. I left today with my two 2 year olds, as we couldn?t even enjoy a simple visit. I appreciate people have to take the prams but isn?t there somewhere outside that could be used as a buggy area? Something like the one at the butterfly house in the Horniman. It?s so annoying, and unsafe!

Does anyone know what?s happened on Therapia Road? It?s completely taped off, lots of police in attendance

Yes I told the staff in the cafe, they said they wasn?t allowed to touch it. It was an outside company that clears the nappy bin. It hadn?t been changed for a good few days the lady said

Just had lunch here with my 2 babies.. I couldn't help but notice how many flies there was. Turns out that the nappy bin in the toilet is literally full to the brim, a few nappies from overflow!! When I mentioned it to staff I was told they wasn't allowed to touch it due to health and safety.. I'm sure this is the case. But, isn't the health and safety compromised also by the smell, the flies and general unhygienic state of the changing area??

Just had some amazing glass splash backs fitted by new local company, very clean, tidy and efficient workmanship. Would highly recommend.
