    I took my daughter to Gently elephant today to get some shoes and was very impressed with the range of shoes and boots on offer. The owners were very attentive and gave good advice. They don't just do shoes but have lots of gorgeous clothes, books and toys - recommended!

    My baby also cut down her milk intake at around this time. After about a week I realised I needed to use a number 3 teat as she was getting fed up and giving up. Just a thought x

    Congratulations on your engagement! We got married at Dulwich college old library and then had our reception at the Distillers Pub in Farringdon/Smithfield. There was no hire charge, just a minimum spend and you could get a late licence if you wanted. Scott who organised it was brilliant. We looked around lots of different venues and found that this one was exactly what we were looking for. Good luck!

    'Not on the high street.com' has old maps in the shape of hearts, you decide which location you want. You can buy them framed, or get the large card option for ?12 and then get a frame yourself.     Hi, My friend, her husband and her two children aged 14 and 9 will be looking after our then 16 month old baby in October while we go to Vegas for my brother's wedding. They will be looking after her for 5 days and I am trying to think of a suitable way to say thank you to all of them. Any suggestions will be most welcome as at the moment they will be getting a Vegas mug! Thank you

    One of the only things on my birth notes was 'no pethadine' However about 20 hours in I had some, it really helped me to calm down and get a bit of rest in what turned out to be a 52 hour labour. I suppose you've got to see how you feel at the time but for me it helped!

    I have an icandy cherry. It handles well, has the option of facing you and a separate carry cot which we used lots when staying at relatives when she was little. However I wish it folded down in one action as it can be a bit of a pain. We now use a Maclaren XT which reclines flat and has a brilliant sunshade/hood which is good for napping. I do still covet the bugaboo bee and sometimes the mini city jogger though! Good luck with your decision!

    A couple of my friends have taken their babies to the OCC in Wandsworth. I think it operates on a donation system though not sure.

    I bought the Mama's and Papa's starlite swing and my baby really really loved it! You only use them for a few months but I found it was worth it. I agree buy second hand if you can... or a long shot if you are ever passing the mama's and papa's factory shop in Stoke!?! they do them new for ?60! xx

    Putting our baby in her own room was the best thing we did! I think we were all waking each other up and at the slightest snuffle I fed her. Now I think she settles herself back to sleep if she wakes up during the night and isn't hungry. X

    I wore a size 20 vest top from sainsburys! Another vote for the ?4.50 primark nighties - have just bought them as pressies for four of my pregnant friends!
