We love buds! My daughter went there and my son is there at the moment. All of the staff work so hard and look after the children so well! Would definitely recommend!

I also had an epidural with both of mine. With the first,the epidural provided amazing pain relief as my labour was 52 hours... After the epidural I also got some sleep and calmed myself down - pethidine also helped me greatly! With the second I had the epidural very late and as a result could feel the pressure of pushing and the baby coming out but absolutely no pain, which was also good for the stitches afterwards... not sure many midwives would have recommended an epidural at this late stage but it worked for me. X

My daughter started when she was 21/2 and loved it. All the staff were extremely caring... have put my son's name down for when he turns two!

Yes, I would also recommend getting there as early as possible - from 8am or a bit before - the queue can be very long. Also agree that the doctors were lovely - hope all goes well x

If a child "fails" the year 1 phonics test, they have to take it again the next year. Extra phonics teaching would be put into place for these children but would not involve the now year 2 child being sent back to year 1!

Peckham Pulse do swimming lessons for babies and they are really good! The next term started this week but you could call and see if there are any places. Excellent value for money - ?60 for 10 lessons.

I think there are either 52 or 54 spaces in Bessemer nursery but to be fair the head teacher did say back in September that all the nursery places would go to siblings - we were just living in hope!
