  1. There are a lot less buses at the times when they are needed most. Trains from ED are cancelled more than they run and from 7.40 onwards the buses are packed to the rafters!
  2. I feel so sad when I hear of such irresponsible dog owners. Please come foward with any information you may have regarding this incident. This Man has to at least contribute to Poppys's vet bill. It's very sad that her owner on top of the stress of her being attacked has to foot a bill that could well be into the thousands. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
  3. Its not the parking that's a problem, the area has quiet good transport links. The problem is the abysmal service we receive from the train and bus companies!
  4. Im still waiting for 2 small dog coats that were sent from Birmingham on 11th December. Unfortunately for me they were bought from an online auction to raise money for an animal rescue. They cant be replaced and I would not ask for the money back either. What do we do, we are at the mercy of a money grabbing, irresponsible company!
  5. Totally agree Jacqui, it normally means even less parking spaces by the time they mark them out.
  6. Badly designed for their benefit probably!
  7. I have just tried to complete the survey and unable to score anymore than a one or two for the first section. Three to Five are not highlighted and therefore unable to be chosen!
  8. So, so happy for you. Hoping Cheetah will be next ❤
  9. This campaign is also being pushed in east dulwich mums on fb. Its like an advertising push. If the bb is so sucessful why is it not reinvesting its profits into it's planned expansion?
  10. Mark T, Thank you!
  11. A view on the mutilations from a reliable source. https://www.facebook.com/158681810859025/posts/1907440542649801/ OUR VIEW - THIS IS INCORRECT! At Streatham Hill Vets we have had several of these bodies brought into us. They have all consisted of clean, surgical type amputations or beheadings. They were NOT done by foxes or wild animals. It is exceptionally rare for a fox to attack a cat and they should not be used as scapegoats for these horrific crimes. We're afraid that our combined significant veterinary experience is going to have to differ with the pathologist on this case. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/09/20/croyd
  12. I think any one of the many owners that have come to discover the remains of their family pets not only with missing body parts but some returned to their locality with said body parts neatly placed either on the body or blatantly in the view of the owners and proven to be detached from the body with a sharp instruments may disagree with the underfunded police forces in the U.K.
  13. Another story... http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1941872,1941872#msg-1941872
  14. Anyone who had a girlfriend in labour would of walked to kings to ensure they didn't miss the birth. They knock at weird times in the hope you are sleepy and a bit fuzzy and get your purse out to get rid of them and go back to bed. The other scam is the" moved into number blur down the road and have no money for bread/milk/ gas etc etc and there is a baby in the house. Very good conmen and women but have been doing it for a very long time.
  15. So glad he is back home. What a very well natured and loving cat. Thank god you understood the message, didnt have my glasses with me at the time I wrote it 🤦‍♀️
  16. Ho Jave sent you a pm Have a cat woth me that could e yous?
  17. Same here, mastic is also splitting and coming away from the surfaces it was applied to. Southwark council have continued to use Saltash. Surely if a company with a contract does not fulfill standards the contract should be annulled?
  18. Sadly she didn't make it home. Reported to have been found on the train tracks the day she went missing. Very sad news.
  19. Having just checked it seems I have been here since September 2007. Time flies an all that!
  20. Are you offering Stephieee?
  21. He is definitely not neutered, has had quiet a few rucks with my female cat. He also doen't seem to be very people friendly either. He is absolutely massive and doesnt look like he has been short of a meal at any time in his life.
  22. Which is exactly what the council are hoping to acheive! mikeb Wrote: -1------------------------------------------------------ > @ Rendel - because I don't perceive a CPZ as > increasing parking availability overall, although > I admit this is becoming a closer deal as (i) > yellow lines around junctions are being rolled out > across the borough (ii) ED is becoming the only > place in the local area that does not have a CPZ > and so has some 'parking tourists' coming round.
  23. Again, as I say there will be fewer spaces not more if the cpz is brought in. Everthing you have quoted is fine in an ideal world but it just doesbt happen like that unfortunately. You almost sound like an advert for cpz, Do you work for the council by any chance? bels123 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Mscrawthew Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > Those of you under the impression that it will > make the area a > > more pleasant one to live in are very much > either > > under a very false illusion or have never lived > in > > a cpz. > > https://www.southwark.gov.uk/assets/attach/2111/Pa > rking_zones_-_before_and_after_photos.pdf > > These before & after photos from nearby CPZs show > otherwise - Southwark typically expect a 40% > reduction in parked cars. > > As well as a few other benefits below - cleaner > air, less congestion and encouraging sustainable > travel are my personal favourites. 24. I know of no known pro's to a CPZ apart from Southwark Council's bank account. Those of you under the impression that it will make the area a more pleasant one to live in are very much either under a very false illusion or have never lived in a cpz.
  25. Duvets and pillows can be a choke hazard for some dogs. I dont think tjey will take them?
