Excited to be popping up in Dulwich and Crystal Palace next week for some lovely Autumn Half Term Halloween Baby Bop Specials! Join us with your baby or toddler for a lovely gentle music session full of pumpkins, falling leaves, spiders and skeletons! We'll be at the Francis Peek Community Centre in Dulwich Park next Monday and Wednesday (October 28th/30th) in the morning and afternoon and at the Kin Family Wellbeing Studio in Crystal Palace next Tuesday afternoon (October 29th)! Costumes are highly encouraged along with your favourite Autumn and Halloween song requests! And as always older siblings on holiday or in home school are welcome to join as well. Only those participating in the session (as opposed to just helping/accompanying their younger siblings) need to book a ticket. Numbers are more limited for our inside sessions so it’s worth booking as soon as possible if you’d like to come along! So looking forward to it! Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for beautiful bops in the Dulwich Orchard these last weeks! What wonderful gatherings we had! Thank you so much for making our sessions so sweet. I so enjoyed catching up, being introduced to new little siblings as well as meeting many new families! Very happy to say we’ll be returning to the Orchard again this week for some bonus special summer bops! The weather is looking set to be brilliant and it would be wonderful to have you join us on Tuesday or Wednesday (September 3rd/4th) at 10am, 11am or 3:30pm. I won’t be running any sessions for the two weeks after these so depending on how the weather goes these may be our last al fresco bops this year! Come and sing in September and keep the summer going with us! 🍎 IMG_8983.MOV

ED Granny groups / Granny NCT
beababies replied to hollyrosalind's topic in The Family Room Discussion
hi Holly, This is a FAB idea!! I've never heard of it but do hope you find that NCT for grandmas or something along those lines exists! Another idea for your mum, we have lots of grandmas and grandpas who regularly attend my drop in baby music sessions. If you think your mum might be interested, please do PM me and I can let you know which sessions are guaranteed to have other grand grown ups there ;) ! Dog Friendly East Dulwich - what is/isn't
beababies replied to mannymanuel's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Great thread :)! Very helpful to know where is and isn't dog friendly locally! I would've guessed Cafe G would be OK with selling you a take away coffee, especially being right on the park (some places will very kindly come and serve you at the door if dogs aren't allowed inside!). To confirm comments above, Yup, France is very very dog friendly :) and so is the uk countryside I've found. ED is very dog friendly as well though :) I've been welcomed with my small dog in many shops and pubs locally. Guessing shops depend on the size of the dog though! Here's ones I can confirm from my experience other than those already mentioned: Dog Friendly: Clockhouse (they have dog treats and water bowls inside :) !) The Plough Chandelier (in the back area) The Victoria Inn Prettys Oddono's (dogs not OK inside but they'll serve you takeaway at the door ;) !) The Patch The Great Exhibition Rye Books ED Mrs Robinson Tomlinsons Antique place open on weekends off of Northcross Rd Not Dog Friendly: Duck Egg Cafe (dogs only OK outside, although once when I'd already ordered and it started raining they let me sit at the front counter on the stools :) !) Blackbird (at the one in Herne Hill dogs are only OK outside) Londis (not allowed inside though they did watch/hold my dog for me when I ran in once :) !) Supermarkets FYI, new dog owners, dogs are allowed on public transport no problem :) - buses (although if there's already a dog on the bus they sometimes say no), underground, trains. . . -
Ahha, I like how the "massage" part is slipped in in the middle ;) !?

So sorry you're experiencing these physical reactions of stress :( sounds like you have loads of stressworthy things happening :( just thought I'd mention having your thyroid tested. I imagine you already did but some of the symptoms you listed coincide with hypothyroidism (unexplained weight gain, depression, brittle hair), it overlaps with iron deficiency symptoms. I used to have really bad jaw pain with grinding my teeth through stress during university. It was also related to my wisdom teeth though and when I had them out, I stopped grinding. May be worth seeing a dentist? Best of luck :) I've heard great things about CBT as well :) x
