Hello Sue, I have been to the local arts and music interests in the local and surrounding areas, contacted the Student Unions in Kings College. Word of mouth too. But it seems everyone has something on the 12th. I haven't recieved many replies to my adverts for the night, so I will be interested to see the numbers on Friday evening. Good times.B)

Next Friday 12th (fingers crossed) should be a great night of new fresh live music performed by unsinged talent around London. The show will start at 8pm and the last act will play around 10-10.30pm. There will also be a DJ to play out the rest of the night till the early hours. If Friday does well, then be sure, we will organise more nights in ED. I love the bars around ED. During the day, great food and good outdoor spaced bars. During the night few bars provide decent late night life. However, there are no live music venues. (till now) Me and my friend Suroj are about to start our very own live music night in ED. The venue is yet to be named, but we have it booked (80%). This will hopefully be a week to week event every Friday/Saturday. Showcasing the best unsigned talent around London and most importantly East Dulwich musicians too. There is more information about the night in 'what's going on ED'. I would like anyone to give some feedback and ideas (help) with running a live music night. The beatles, were four blokes who travelled together, worked together, had good times, bad times, just like any other group of friends. If they had beef between each other, then it was their business and not for us to name call or to pre judge what happened or who is wrong or right. They gave us a good music, can't stand it when people have to get on their high horse and make judgements on people who they never met or spoken too.

Just heard from my friend who works for the estate agency Alan & Hansen that Poundland have a temp permit for 2 years to run their business in Lordship lane. Apparently it's going to be their flagship store. More to follow, as work on the store will begin in 2 weeks. Their aim is to become a cheap version of woolworths, which makes me wonder what the prices will be like? One pound for everything? Insane. Humans are such pigs. If we didn't litter and dump our rubbish around the green areas near sainsbury, we probably wouldn't have half the rats there. I did walk past there this afternoon and I saw 6 or 7 rats having a rave over empty chicken boxes. Vermin, that's us by the way..
