    Yeh, I went in to ask about a vase in the window (I had one that I'd bought form Ikea the previous year) and they wanted ?4.99 for it. It only cost ?2.99 brand new. I know it's a charity shop but that's pushing it a bit.

    I remember the building being there when I first moved to the area 15 years ago, it sat between the Mirash and Goose Green School and was knocked down to provide building land for the flats which are there now.

    Been at Melbourne Grove since Dr Grant back in the good old days and have been meaning to move for ages but held back from doing so because of Dr Johnson but nothing keeping me there once he goes. Might be a dumb question but what and where is DMC?

    You can't make assumptions, just because someone was at a birthday party doesn't make them a member of a gang! As I said earlier, my kids are heading towards their teens and in two or three years it could be them at a similar party, bullets and knives can affect all young people, regardless of whether they are in a gang or not.

What do you mean 'they only shoot eachother' - they are all someone's son (or daughter).

    There's a really good stationers/art supply shop on Brixton Road above the chemist shop (just opposite mothercare).
