Garden wall damage by dangerous HIT and RUN driver. On Friday 16th at approx. 2.30 pm a corner of our Belleneden Rd front garden wall was knocked down by a grey couple. A neigbour saw the tail end of the incident and reports that there were to people in the front of the car, one of whom was looking very distraught.Unfortunately the neighbour was unable to get the Registration no. The grey car involved has to have been seriously damaged as the end pier was strenthened with metal If you have very recently noticed a badly damaged grey coupe parked/abandoned could you please let me know, together with it@ Reg. No, This was an act of very dangerous driving - someone cd have been badly hurt - the driver needs to be found I have a tremor and find it impossible to put location of incident, however it happened Lidl's end of Bellenden Rd. The car cd be anywhere. If you are fairly local did your CTV pick anything up of the getaway? I wd be grateful if you wd circulate ..Thank you.

Community Books work on same priciple as one in Marmora RD above to me Try Costa Street round the back of Peckham. It was a community food larder which I started adding books to. You may or may not be in luck today, but it's worth people donating to once they're read this and if they live close by. There's even a beautiful little green space There's a couple of converted red telephone boxes on Lewisham Way that have excellent libraries and always well stocked, I always leave something when I take a book. There is a children's one on the corner of Wickham Road and Lewisham Way and the adult one is opposite Aladdins Cave salvage yard which is also a treasure trove and still open right now. m Charlene Hy Charlene Hy ? Peckham Rye Park In the middle of crescent wood road opposite a cream block there is a wood cabinet with books, i will update on exactly what number it is with a picture. 2 days ago Jackie Poulett Jackie Poulett ? 2 linked sex assaults in Peckham Rye-Police appeal
gabys1st replied to siousxiesue's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
More tips If assailant realy close.. Knee jab or squeeze gonads with all your strength, jab eyes using forked index and middle fingers, dame technique up nostrils are off the record tips given us after the Official Breakaway training we had when I was working. Somee of them are same as given me by my Mum. One of the trainers even carried hmmm dunno how to describe it - made of metal, a bit shorter then a pen but with rounded ends- using it givea hard jab in that hollow above where collar bones meet is very effective. If just feeling very threatened then use one of those horrendous alarms which should fringhten bloke off. Reoert immead to Police a -

DL had a flood recently - cd have delayed opening? -
" staff are all on a well deserved holiday for a > month while the work is being done....... considering they all seemed completely happy about it, I would say so :-)" I hope they are all still getting paid...Used to shop at that co-op and more often do little shops at the Forest Hill rd shop. As I became less mobile and had to use both crutches I always found the staff very helpful and happy to ho the extra mile e.g.at The Lordhop lane shop someone wd take my trolley around the corner and pack it into car boot. Hope ths means that they are happy in thier work as treated well.

Need to ear masks with 2 way filters N95, or next lot down to filter nano particles that linger in the air

Recently had 1st jab at Tessa J, Centre. Went like clockword thanks to wonderful volunteers. What I did notice tho was inspite of notices asking peeps to remove outer clothing to enable sleeve to be rolled up hardly anyone had even taken taken their coats off even tho they knew they were next inline to be called in by Doc supervising nurse who axtually did the stabbing. If your centre has you waiting in side, please ensure your upper arm is a accessible whilst you are waiting for the jab.

St.C. Hospice shops on Lordship Lane
gabys1st replied to gabys1st's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Thank you. I appreciated that they wdn't be open at the moment but asked my question as hadn't expected to hear that both shops were empty of goods. Maybe they are recognising that Covid is going to be around for a long time and taking opportunity to re-organise shops. -
Apparently closed and empty, anyone know why?
