Its a tricky one. The nice bloke who runs petit chou is thinking about having a cafe in there - but isn't sure there is the custom. Yet a really good coffee bar would help bring in the custom i'm sure. Chicken and the egg but I hope he goes for it. You're right though Benjaminty it does need more. A music stall would be great.

But things like this retain the creativity of Dulwich.It is relatively small I suppose but its only a minutes walk from Cafe Nero and thats constantly busy - the warehouse has the potential to be a really great addition to this area - we mustn't let it close - we need to support these ventures.

I always think not having controlled parking makes East Dulwich seem more civilized. the only problems I've had was when I lived near the station - during the week everyone would park on my street then get the train into work. That was a bit of a pain when I had to park 2 streets away from my house. But even then i didn't want permit holders only bays or anything. It'd feel like Fulham and surely we're far enough onto that dreaded slope thanks to fxxtons..

Does this mean I'll be able to finally drag my other half into Dulwich of a weekend? He refuses to come shopping with me as there is so little in the way of Men's shops. I think its a great idea. i popped into the warehouse yesterday and to be honest it was pretty quiet. It seemed such a shame and I'm not sure why. Has it not been advertised well? Hiya - I live smack in the middle of Barry rd and love it. We're directly outside a bus stop so have night buses all night but they honestly dont bother us at all - you get used to it after a couple of days. And yes - most of the houses have had subsidence to a degree in the past - mine is as wonky as anything - but so long as the movement isn't ongoing theres not much to worry about. The road is busy but theres no problem parking - I used to live close to the station and am much happier here. go for it.
