  1. Hi Rosie We have a lovely new au pair called Tiffany from Germany - just arrived - who would love to meet some other au pairs. Many thanks Lucy

  3. May I recommend the street dance class my son (aged 8) attends on Thursday evenings at JAGS sport centre? He's been going for a term and absolutely loves the teacher, the groovy music and being in a proper dance studio. The group really needs a few more children, so I just wanted to tell you how great it is! If you would like details, please PM me Many thanks Lucy
  4. We have had au pairs for 5 years and they have always been taught by the same great English teachers. The course is in Penge (you can catch a bus from Dulwich Library) and assessments are tomorrow 11th September and Tuesday 12 September at 10am at Beckenham Baptist Church. Our au pair is going tomorrow. If you au pair is interested, look up Learn English SE London / Bromley on Facebook - or telephone Sarah on 0208 851 3916 - or email her on standrewsmottingham@tiscali.co.uk. Our au pairs have all been really happy with the courses, saying how interesting and fun the teachers made the lessons, and have all passed their FCE or CAE English exams (there are two courses for two different levels, each course 2 hours, 2 mornings each week). Hope that's helpful info. Lucy

  10. Our new au pair is starting English lessons in Penge this week. The teachers on the courses (FCE or the higher, CAE level, 2 hour lessons, twice a week) are really great - enthusiastic and inspiring - and have taught our au pairs for the last 5 years. But this year, they need to attract more students to make the groups viable. If your au pair would be interested, please contact Sarah on standrewsmottingham@tiscali.co.uk, as soon as possible. Many thanks Lucy

  14. It's my son's 6th birthday day at home on 22 March. He would love a 'Nature' party. Basically, I am just wondering whether is anyone who might lend us an interesting animal for the children to look at (chicks?hedgehog?mouse?reptile?).
