  1. Pedlar, Palmerston, Franklins. Half Moon Tavern in Herne Hill too. And The Florence. Not that intimate, but went to Taco Queen on Rye Lane at the weekend. Best nachos and tacos I've had in London. Well worth a visit.
  2. It is really quick and easy to fill in the consultation (https://consultations.tfl.gov.uk/buses/central-london/?cid=central-london-bus-consultation), and you have until Nov 9 - why not just do it quickly now so you don't have to kick yourself after Nov 10 for not having done it in time?
  3. Fix ETA now 1305 https://my.virginmedia.com/faults/service-status
  4. Same here, near The Lordship. Website says ETA for fix is 12pm.
  5. I'm hearing it is the cheeseblock building.
  6. The lack of A/C totally stops me from using that gym. Unbearable.
  7. Best councillor ever. This is so sad. :(
  8. The mutant offspring of A-Boards has appeared outside the Co-op - a giant coffee cup! :D
  9. Thank you! Sally Eva Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Eh voila > > https://www.southwark.gov.uk/transport-and-roads/r > oadworks-and-highway-improvements/obstructions-on- > roads-and-pavements
  10. Does anyone know what the laws or guidelines are regarding "A" boards outside shops on public pavements in East Dulwich?
  11. I passed it today and it is only closed for refurb.
  12. They seem to absolutely love drumming at Alleyn's school with little care or consideration for local residents as they send their students marching round and round the field banging their big drums as loud as they can. Grrrr. EDIT: Apologies - as others suggested (below), I didn't connect the context and wouldn't have posted about it for this solemn occasion. Mis-timed complaint about something that happens throughout the year.

Hi, I liked the RSS feeds too! Thanks!
  14. Found him! ----------- Our young ginger cat, Milo, is missing. If you are based near Alleyn's school or the Lordship pub please check your gardens. Thank you.
  15. The Lordship has a lot of wedding events...120 might be a push. Could try Suzanne James on Barry Road. I think the White Horse in Peckham has a large-ish capacity. Crown and Greyhound in Dulwich? Just some thoughts - probably not that helpful!
  16. @ianr I just had this problem with a Dell - turned out to be the power-switch cable (the cable from the power button to the motherboard).
  17. It is exactly there inability to keep the temperature at a bearable level that stops me and my wife and others I know from using the gym again.
  18. Just had Saied round to help with a bit of post-winds garden repair and preparing for this spring/summer. Great advice, and excellent as always.
  19. So nice of them to fence off the front, making it extra difficult to walk along the market on Saturdays.
  20. When I came to E.D five years ago, I think there were trains every 10 minutes from E.D. to London Bridge between 8 and 9am!
  21. Try Sash Windows London - did a good job for me.
