  1. This thread is the BEST. Finally, I've found a community I can call home. I've conducted tests on all the mainstream supermarket brands - Lidl is certainly a strong contender with a great aroma, hearty size and good rip-ability. Points off for flakiness though. Tesco is your best option if you enjoy a crunchier crossaint. It is Sainsbury's however, that wins it for me. Consistent crossaint goodness in every bite. I look forward to branching out and testing all the named local establishments above.
  2. Interesting idea but I think, a little poorly delivered. I wonder if it is really aimed at the true collection of residents in Peckham, or if it is simply another step towards the Shoreditch-ification and white-middle-class-ification of our town. Let's think a bit further outside the box and try to find something that will unite a diverse and increasingly disparate community, rather than add to the onslaught of unreasonably priced coffee shops.
  3. I'm keen to join a local women's rugby or basketball team in East Dulwich / Peckham - does anyone know of any? Also wondered generally about what amateur women's teams we had in the area? This Girl Can and all that.
