  2. you could try the monthly farmer's market at Dulwich College .. they have a craft bit too
  3. if you ask Foxtons I'm sure they'll say yes

  5. in which case feel free to replace 99p with tuppence ha'penny if you want
  6. who would be the Sharks and who would be the Jets? I'm torn between 'Little Jemima and Jeremy need their babyccinos' vs "euwwwww it's talking in a public place and its not even 3 foot yet" or 'Ooo look it's just like Clapham but more bohemian' vs the 'I remember when everything cost 99p'
  7. an annoyance of estate agents an ineptitude of estate agents
  8. we walked out because we ordered some pastries to take out and the girl disappeared to get a box for them 10 minutes later we were still waiting for her to return with the mythical box wasn't worth the wait and they were the smallest cakes in the world too .. I was just intrigued as to whether all the taste was condensed too
  9. OMgoodG what were they thinking?
  10. Depends which rules you're playing by but if we start on the Stovold variation you'll pick it up in no time For example I'll start with Barking see now I'm embarrassed because I've just realised there's an entire game in play elsewhere on this board... I shall withdraw hence
  11. Honestly I hate kids playing out and would prefer it if they didn't. They seem to be out there unsupervised from very early ages .. I'm talking 3 and 4 year olds. The older ones make a lot of noise, their balls end up in my garden on countless occasions each evening and I have to return it with a smile. They play against the side of my house even though it booms through the house. I find it irritating >

I'm confused. :-S In answer to your first question there are some posts on here that just don't feel real .. if I'm wrong I apologise .. but it is fairly obvious on reading through thread which ones I'm referring to With reference to your second question. As I stated I had log-in problems because of a couple of Trojans on my laptop so Admin kindly deleted my registration so that I could re-register .. this seemed to remove my posting name from the OP and left me unable to edit out the inaccuracy that it is only the Pilates classes that are not included in the membership fee (which I still feel is extortionate .. but please see my penultimate comment on previous post)
  13. Oh god I hope this isn't another horrific accident involving a lorry
  14. Hello I'm really sorry I started this thread and was unable to return due to log-in difficulties. I've been reading with interest though and have smiled at some of the more obvious 'mates of the owner' posts and read with interest the post of the owner. I think its rather amusing referring to this as a 'family run gym' and ignoring the fact they already have facilities in Fulham. I think I was just very disappointed in the pricing structure, but then I must not be target market. I would have happily used this off-peak and forgone the swimming pool if it had been more cost-effective than ANY of the neighbouring and well-resourced facilities: the leisure centre, JAGS, Dulwich College etc. I agree its targeted at different people than little ol' me. But the resultant impression is that rather than a friendly 'family run gym' the elitist pricing structure shows another way that the area is evolving away from me and into a 'Fulham-zone' I picked my name with care you see :)) and as my spouse is wont to say 'If you are so enraged by the concept and prices don't farkin' join' Good luck Max
