  1. Yep lots of dodgy dealings going on in surf lunden, including Lordship Lane!
  2. I am so sorry but the thread really made me laugh, you win title of the day!
  3. Asset Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Couldn't possibly repeat it on a public forum Excellent! Thanks for making me laugh, I have had the worst week of my life, and though you did put my nose out of joint at the beginning you have made me laugh at the end so that is good! Things can only get better!:)

But what if we get rejected/not authorised due to lack of funds? can you imagine how embarrassing it would be when the bar person says " sorry, but you have been rejected" ohhh, won't even be able to buy a beer to cry into!

  7. Well I am so sorry for not reading the terms and conditions and being perfect:( I like pink!
  8. Asset is a right grumps on sundays...or is that just his/her general personality? Hmm I am off to search for the doggy post and bring it ALL up again!(tu)
  9. Ahh it is ok, Asset has been posting on my posts going on about old threads, think I am irking him off with my threads! In case you have not noticed Asset, I am new!! So my questions to me are new and fresh even though you probably had the discussion etc months ago on a thread and it is old hat to you. Thanks for the welcome!

  11. I must be a simpleton, because I laughed for ages at the joke...:(

  13. I didnt go to the play area...just went to the lake part and the one o clock club, my little man kept having his toys taken away by a right little madam and her buddies ( she was only about 3 but has made it clear it was her 'turf' and the rest of the little kiddies were her ghetto buddies!) I had to tell her many times to play nicely. The grandparents could not even control her. I can see throwing stones at the number 12 buses in the future!>:D< What made me laugh was there was a mum there, she kept grabbing the toys her daughter kept attempting to put in her mouth and was wiping all the toys with a wet wipe and grimacing at the same time! To be fair, I didnt really give the club a proper chance, the people who worked there seems nice, just they could do with more nicer toys, and the kids could do with supernanny...anyone got a spare naughty stair? Saying that the kids in Dulwich park can be little monsters, my niece and nephew have been bullied by a few little kiddies in the park who liked to push and shove to get on the slides/swings! I tend to tell the parents off!
  14. Some questions: Keep dogs on a lead.....why do most of the owners ignore this and let their dogs run free on the tarmac where kids are walking, adults are walking, joggers are running and cyclists are cycling? I cannot begin to tell you the fear the kids have when we are walking and an overexcited dog comes running up to them resulting in sobs and wails of fear from the kids. And I have been chased whilst jogging by dogs off leads. Walking dogs on Tarmac.....why would dogs WANT to walk on tarmac?? why walk to Dulwich park to walk on tarmac when any pavement will suffice? would it not be better to let the dogs run about on the grass where they can poo, run free and have no kids or joggers etc in their view? after all that IS the dog exercise area and they can be taken off the leads there. Since cars were banned from Dulwich Park the influx of dog walkers has increased ten folds and it is causing so many problems!
  15. A man went to the doctor and said, "Doctor, I've got a problem, but if you're going to treat it, first you've got to promise not to laugh." "Of course I won't laugh," the doctor said. "I'm a professional. In over twenty years I've never laughed at a patient." "Okay then," the man said, and proceeded to drop his trousers, revealing the tiniest penis the doctor has ever seen. Unable to control himself, the doctor fell laughing to the floor. Ten minutes later he was able to struggle to his feet and regain his composure. "I'm so sorry," he said. "I don't know what came over me. On my honor as a doctor and a gentleman, I promise it won't happen again. Now what seems to be the problem?" "It's swollen." >:D< made me laugh anyway!
  16. I liked: 1st Person: I don't like that man, he'll be the death of me he will. 2nd Person: Yeah I know what you mean, the feeling is mutual. 1st person: You mean the feeling is NEUTRAL...not mutual, you always get your words mixed up. 2nd Person: My bad, sorry you are right...yeah the feeling is neutral mate. Ahhh poor 2nd person...she got it right the first time!
  17. He's pretty rude, I have encountered him as did my sister when she worked in Sainsbury's....thinks he is the bees knees....does anyone know the number in the yellow pages for someone who can reduce his ego?
  18. luke dogwalker Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > :)-D Who's going to look after the animals? Those Crocs Hunters in Dulwich probably!
  19. Ahh no! I would not pay ?80 to get my hair coloured, I go to Boots and pay ?4. Nor do I pay through the nose for a drink, for me going out is a treat, I don't get a stockbrokers wage either, infact MOST people do only earn up to ?18,000 BEFORE tax, it is after all us little people that keeps the country running so yes I do begrudge spending a fortune on a membership, I used to go to PUSH but ?10 per session was just killing my pocket, we do need to do about 4/5 days of exercises a week, that would work out to be ?50 a week, which is ?200 a month, that is a lot of my wages gone! I want prices everyone can afford not just a selected few.
  20. Ohh Keef, I think I would remember you, I assume your name is Keith? (just a wild guess!). Well we might not have shared the same school but never mind, we probably share the same pubs and beside no doubt we shall bump into each other somewhere in Dulwich! Maybe on Monday we can press our noses against Foxton Windows and see if they will invite us in for a coke? (I'll bring the hipflask of whiskey) Heidi
  21. Yeah it is at night, when you have heels on, and you're tired, it costs ?1.50 charge from cashpoint or ?2 bus fare, so I just pop in costcutters if Lloyds bank is out and pay the charge.
  22. Keef that dont count because I went to Peckham Park primary school but went to Waverley girls school secondary (now known as Harris academy) my sisters went to Goodrich, my brother went to Kingsale....my sisters, my mum and I all work in Dulwich as nannies. My nanna lives in Bellenden road. But still I was born in Dulwich Hospital so I am Dulwich through and through! xx
  23. Ahhh give me a ploughman anyday! No snobbery here...well only sometimes!
  24. I've been to Lloyds bank, tried to get money, found it was empty and had to go to costcutters which charges to get money out as there are no more local, i am certainly not spending two pounds on the bus at night to go further down lordship lane to try a cash point when it is late.
  25. I used to work for securicor and we did sometimes put money in during the weekends but only if it was going to be a bank holiday/christmas weekend etc. We could only put in what the banks tell us to put in, so some cashpoints would have 10k some would only have 5k and so on, it is stupid but alas it is all controlled by the big boys and there was nothing we could do. Quite agree about the machine that charge you money to take your own money...we will be charged for breathing soon...mark my words!
