  1. She went to the kebab and wine, to take shelter from the drunken swines
  2. My brother used to work as a binman many moons ago, and he said the money is much better then what you get in retail! Lots of people do unpleasant jobs, streetcleaners, my sister who is a nurse and gets little thanks and money for it, and lots of other people. They get a wage.
  3. Oh that is just silly! Tipping everyone! It is different if you are on first names term with them, but i never see my bin men and they are pretty much useless, dumping half the stuff on the pavement which has missed their truck. As for the postman, they keep changing all the time! Beside I am sure a lot of them tip themselves by helping themselves to our posts! Milkmen? dont have! My organic delivery fruit lady is getting a card. If I was the Queen I would tip everyone, butI am not, I only buy for close family members. At least they get a wage, there are many people who do not even get that!
  4. Ermm help out at Crisis. Stay in and throw a party. Stay in and Watch TV. Go Skiing. Go to Edinburgh to party in Scottish style. Babysit for someone who wants to party on New Year's eve. I am spending festive season with the family and friends and that is how I like it.
  5. I want to be burnt and scattered in the wind!! I want everyone to go to the pub afterwards and have a bloody good night taking the Pee out of me!
  6. You are so lucky having big bosoms that need strapping up! I have to make do with these small babies!
  7. Ditto to big number 5! I am not paying extra for their opinion when I know what is what, and nor am I paying extra for towels and shampoo! A decent gym with common sense staff at a decent price...please!
  8. Are there any stalls left?? I have a business idea!
  9. I had the common sense to SNUB the fair!
  10. Sadly everyone else DOES pass judgement based on what is in newspapers, if Chav was not on this forum and no one knew about her, you would be passing judgement, it is human nature. We ALL pass judgement but naturally we are more lenient when it comes to friends and family and people we know! We ALL have an opinion. Mine? well lets say, I have seen a lot, lived a lot and I would have taken a completely different road to Chav but then my personality and mentality is obviously different to hers. We all have choices and when it comes to kids, well, I know I would never do anything that would warrant my going into prison if I had kids, but alas, that is me.

Ahhh you are a wise man!! (tu) I agree exactly! I used to read papers but reading about murders, wars and such and being unable to do anything about it just got me really angry so I would rather not know! The news was worse, the amount of times I listened to all the stuff going on and being flabbergasted was not good for my blood pressure, so basically I just focus on my life and the things I have control over.

Then I shall remain 'silly' I have no interest in reading about every politican, celeb or Tom, Dick and Harry, I have my own life to be getting on with.
  13. It is a paper, it tells the news, thus newspaper! I don't watch TV either! I only watch Strictly come dancing and Heroes and that is my lot. I do agree that all information is someone elses version but the media DOES influence too many people and you cannot disagree there! Ignorance is bliss and that is where I shall remain...Blissful! 14. I feel like I am missing out on a huge secret!I do not read newspapers ( as it is one person giving their version of the truth and I do not like the influence the media has) so I guess I shall remain in the dark about this big secret! I think we all have a few skeletons in our closets anyway!
  15. I spend around ?60 to ?200 on each person, I just buy for two sisters (one lives in Oz so we don't bother) my mum, my two nieces, my nephew and my brother and that is my lot done. I do however buy everyone special presents on their birthdays, that is friends, their kids , my family etc, which I just cannot do at christmas.
  16. I have never had a problem getting taxis back from up town or the airports. They are usually really nice as well, chatting all they way home which drives me mad as I like to ride in peace.
  17. I saw the dog this am running up henslowe road. I just saw a dog from the lounge window and was expecting an owner but no one was to be seen. Poor dog.
  18. I went there for my birthday last year. It was absolutely awful. I used to go a lot but it has gone really downhill and I would never recommend it to anyone.
  19. How gross!! In all the years I have drank, I have never got to the state that I would need to vomit! I guess my nana weaning me on rum as a child helped me in handling my drink! Maybe you need to learn not to mix your drinks/drink on an empty stomach/drink booze that doesn't agree with you/become teetotal ( delete as applicable) in order not to get on the bus and make your fellow passengers have to hold their noses and turn their head away from your vomit! Oh else, instead of boarding a bus, find a doorway and sleep it off!>:D< I have been on the 176 after a very drunken night up west and someone boarded the bus with his mate and just bowed his head down and vomited whilst his mate sat there pretending not to see it, they both then got up and just got off at their stop and some poor passenger who went to sit in his seat step right into his vomit and turned green......urgh!!! I think I will avoid going to any events with you lot, it looks like I will have to bring sick bags!

  23. yanlizkurt, Nerelisiniz? Ne Yapiyorsunuz? Very strange having a Turkish flag on here!
  24. Even if you are poor, it is better to buy a small amount of organic meat/fruits/vegs than it is to buy lots of junk which does NOTHING for your body or immune system.
  25. What horrible people! Why would someone do that? People are so bizarre!
