Having had many this is my advice,... Leave it.... If u receive a letter then protest that u never received the ticket after all they can blow off with this bad weather... Then u still have the 28 or 14 days to pay the discounted fine... But there's a chance u won't even get the ticket if it's been entered wrong. Happy days!!!!P.s if it was put on ur side window and not ur windscreen this also dismisses a parking ticket... My friend is a parking warden in Cornwall and explained this is the law lol

I was referring to things in general but phones are the easiest things to steal and sell... So if they don't come with boxes beware...

im sure most of our community isnt so stupid but please ladies and gents be cautious of what you are buying on the internet, especially seeing recent events.... rioting, street robbing and looting... everyone wants a cheap phone! but if its very new or expensive and has no box nor proof of ownership do you really want to part with a few hundred pounds to find out your bargain priced phone does not work in a few days/ weeks/ months? and will then only be any good outside of the uk.... i just bought an i phone 3gs...... and no i wasnt scammed i was carefull, came with original box and accessorys and i tried calling and texting and using the net before buying it but i nearly got scammed on one the guys phone was on and of apparently swapping sim cards! hmmmmm dodge! didnt get that one!lol

I know it might sound weird but I'm telling that's the best way to sus out the area to see if worth opening a parlour and also will build ur clientel on the way up. Start out offering a mobile service which to my knoledge has never been done as a business and yet lots of tattooists tattoo friends at home... Untapped business right there... Especially in east dulwich, this forum will make u or brake u so be very carefull with comments and opinions etc just from my own personal experience and watching the forum over time...i started my mobile hair business back in December 2010 and now 7 months later I'm so so busy clients often have to wait a week or 2 to get an appointment and now if I had the funds I could very happily open a salon on lordship lane which I have been thinking about. My current clientel would mist certainly cover my rent and bills + a small amount of profit but then obviously there would be more revenue from passers bye, and others that don't perhaps use the forum and then those that liked the sound of my reputation but would rather use a salon as they like the pamper side of things... As for Ed class and social types etc... I'd kind of agree with what some others said about not being a huge demand for it in the area but that's not to say u couldnt get busy or succeeds.. Theta why the mobile side of things would really help u test the water and a safe option so as not to waste money with the initial outlay of a shop and fitting etc... Also if u dud open a studio I'd heavily suggest looking at the area and it's surrounding decour of shops and making it fit into the area with a touch of class as a stereo typical studio look would not go down well with the locals and may get complaints or even not get approval from the panel... Phrrhaps frosted glass on the shop front... I have to say though there is a market here, certainly alot of my clients are very cool and trendy and I'd say 40% have tattoos and I'm covered lol... And many compliment my tattoos so not all of Ed despises ink... I'd say mobile would be ur best idea to start with though.. Hope has been some help

Hi girls and guys... I've recently taken up go karting as a hobbie... My god it's so much fun.... Found a great local place that only charges ?30 for an hours driving.. Thanks for responses guys... I already checked out city socialising site but seems a great lack of southern londoners that actually respond and sadly due to my work schedule it doesn't leave me much time to attend group acctivutys as much as I'd love to which I was hoping to befriend some locals I could just pop down and chillaxing with on route back from work etc... I was half expecting abuse and mickey taking but thought what the hell it's worth a try, nothing ventured nothing gained but actually seeing some nice responses... Very unexpected and thanks..

I'm open to befriending all ages and sex's just wanting to go out and about to meet others... It's so incredibly hard almost to the point of severely depressing... Driving past all the bars seemingly heaving with people and scared to approach on Ur own... Ir was different in Australia people say hello to u when u simpley pass them in the street it's so easy to make friends there... Seems london is very hard and can be very unwelcoming and people seem to be in groups of people they've probably grown up with it's horrible starting over in mid 20's or older... It's easy if in education or bar / nightclub work I'm sure but already do about 60 hrs a week in a hair salon, last thing I want it is a bar job and it also consumes Ur life.. Been there done that.... Thanks for the encouragement peeps....

It's not anything to do with being too young or old just didn't particularly think that 18-19 Yr olds would really want to be hanging around with a 25 Yr old and same for 30 and over...

hi guys and girls, most of you have probably seen me posting on for hair dressing services etc.. Im 25 and have been in east dulwich for around 5 months now but really struggling to meet people. I work north of the river and dont particularly want to mix work and social lifes anyway. ive seen lots of fashionable cool looking young people around east dulwich and peckham mainly around the victoria inn but am just so petrified of going it alone to meet people.... looking to meet local 20 - 28 yr olds still up for it and going out and about locally so any friendly locals looking to expand there friendship circles drop me a line! jason

as a hairdresser i do see this allot and don't worry too much as you have read and been advised it is very common... I know this isn't making you feel at ease with the situation but what i can suggest is that you perhaps buy your self some protein treatment.. i would heavily recommend REDKEN extreme range, try the shampoo, the anti snap spray and also the intense treatment that comes with it... it will make your a hair a little stronger and should lessen the amount of hair you are loosing as it will be stronger.... jason
