  1. Injuries by Man-hole covers! Any advances!? TLT McCabe
  2. It is just such a good motivational video to watch - nothing like a good cop car chase hey?! TLT McCabe :))
  3. That was a good article on You Tube regarding the blind spot. If you want to see something that will make you smile and then take your breath away, click on the link below. Wow! McCabe.
  4. Ms Mock! You are decread by the 'Lying Toad' the funniest person I know with such wit! Wow, can't wait to my 63rd birthday, I bet I won't feel a day over 46?! And on that, you have given the Lying Toad a great idea - won't tell just yet! The Lying Toad, McCabe.
  5. Yes, Its a guy thing, and yes... ABE. I did buy the 'device' at Evans a few years back as it was local but.... I always go to Halfords now as the decimal point is closer to the LHS ??. They have great service and easy to park in Brixton and most other locations too. I'm now waiting to see Ms Mock's comments, and they will be just minutes away. I think she will drill into the dysfunction part :-) McC.
  6. G'day Ben, We are doing the London Marathon Ride this Sunday... we meet everyother Sunday at 9am, c.20-mile theme ride. Its completely FREE, alot of fun, and mountain / leisure bikes, hi-vis and and crash hats etc... We have stop points every couple of miles to let the ones caught by the red lights to catch up. Best, McCabe.
  7. Ms Mock! You are a star for posting the London Marathon Ride, and....... Me thinks I need to retract the initial submission inter alia.... to the latt?, it was an oversight me lady! BTW, I'm hoping that we will be in the S'wark News this week - I live just out of the area so if you know anyone who gets the paper ... could you ask them to take a peep and save a copy for me. Finally, back to you! I have just posted a 2.5Km / 5Km fun Walk & Jog for mid Jan (Date TBC), no running or racing, powerwalking, jogging or a bit of both. Its to raise awareness of all the great things the local NCT do for the community, you can now set your sights on that B) Mr. McCabe
  8. Large Honking Horn for the handlebars! This can be purchased at Evans and shops alike. The horn with a button is placed on the handlebar, then a bottle with a tube (connecting to the handlebar horn) is place in a bottle holder. There is a special valve on the bottle that allows you to pump it up, more air in the bottle the bigger........Honk! Good Luck. McCabe
  9. Hi Pearson, Lady Mucks comments above are so true which illustrates a complete injustice - a drunk person with no license / insurance gets 5-years; you know, they are probably out after 18-months. Between the age of 11 & 18, I've been under wheels, over cars and dragged along a road and many occasions in hospital. Only one of those recieved points - now as a parent, I want to look at the preventative side and to be seen at a great distance. Hi vis isn't hip, but it helps to get you noticed. Insurance is that added protection for the extra legal arm. McCabe McCabe.
  10. Lady Mock! What an absolute scream you are ! :-) BritishCycling offers insurance for ?24, this is a good starting point as protection. Hi Vis, I know its not hip...., but could be the difference between getting to your destination rather than the hospital. There you are, this is a starting point from the lying Toad! Thank you so much for you tips on the forum. Best, McCabe.
  11. G'day guys, Just read through the list of text and yes, cycling is good but not on paths or through redlights! On Sunday 7th Nov, at 9am at Goose Green Texaco garage, there will be a group of locals on mountain & leisure bikes. They will be headng to Tower Bridge and then following the Jack the Ripper haunts. Interested? Send a message through to the forum or email info@AHM-Go.co (AHM-Go.com) - its that simple! Best, Martin McCabe Director of FREE Community Fitness!
